The fact that they are bringing Aiden back pushes those expectations even lower. What could he possibly bring but problems at this point? He's married with kids. They should have let the character ride off into the sunset never to be seen again. I say this as someone who liked Aiden but thought that he and Carrie were a complete mismatch from day 1.

I watched charmed a while back and you can totally tell in the third season that Shannon Doeherty and Alyssa Milano were not getting along before Shannon asked to be killed off. Rolling their eyes at each other in the background of scenes, saying their lines in really nasty tones, rarely touching each other (when they’re supposed to be close siblings) etc. Although it’s comparing apples and oranges the point is these two (Sarah Jessica and Kim) had issues it’s almost entire series run (it’s been said they got along at first during the first season and then things quickly soured). The producers wanted to keep the beef between the two under wraps but tabloids eventually got wind and despite all that these two still showed up to set and full on pretended to love each other as besties when they couldn’t stand one another in reality. Complete professionals

I just turned 36 and will now watch season 5, when the ladies (except for Sam) are 36 themselves. Started this when I was 32 (with season 1), and have since then only watched one season per year, an episode every few weeks. Some of "my people" think it is a tad weird, but to me it makes perfect sense :D

Kim Cattrall made that Samantha character an icon. From her sassiness to having fun in and out the bedroom, to her dealing with the pain for not being in an actual long term one on one relationship (sick no one to put up her curtains) , to pain of being in a committed one, and bring to light that growing old is still sexy but we are dealing with some body changes at the same time. Hate is kind of strong. It could be a simple matter of a working relationship not carrying over into real life they way fans expected. And really, how many of the people we must work with are truly our friends? Friends in that we swap dinners with at each other’s houses? Call for no reason at all? NONE! But we don’t hate them.

Yes, in high school, you need to make as many friend as possible. But when you're adult, it's not necessary for you to have close friends. The problem with these Hollywood feuds and tv/movie casts that don't get along is usually between two particular actors. One of the actors is being difficult to work with, thus frustrating everybody else but only one person is brave to calls him/her out. They start fighting and the others need to break their fight. Either the producers will fire the troubled one or force both of them to continue working together, at least with less dialogue between them
