They were getting huge but Richard got hooked on alcohol and went into rehab killing their tour and all momentum they were building. It saved his life but really killed filter’s rise to mega band status
It's incredible that he was so brutal with the yelling parts but can sing so cleanly right after. I know a lot of singers can, but it's still an amazing artform
