Hi and welcome or welcome back 😁 thanks for touring the MSC Seascape with us! What was your favorite feature of this ship? If you've cruised on the Seascape, or on another MSC ship let us know about your experience! We've been on 3 different MSC ships, but this was our first time experiencing the Yacht Club. We can't wait to share more about the Yacht Club perks in our next episode!
Just got off the MSC Seashore about a week ago. I had no idea that ship was identical to the Seascape. I was thinking about booking the Seascape but now that I know it's exactly the same I will look for something different. Great video.
Wow! You guys do a great job of guiding us through the ship. I've never been on a cruise ship. The many choices are overwhelming. Thank you for your video.
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. The number of cruises to chose from definitely can be overwhelming. We hope our helped you determine whether or not the Seascape might be a good first cruise option for you!
We haven't done MSC yet but with all of your experiences I might have to give it a try for comparison! I wish I lived closer to the ports. Great tour too friends!
It's definitely a lot more European feeling than other US cruises... but apparently still much less European feeling than the MSC cruises that actually sail out of Europe! We hope that they eventually expand into some of the northern ports that are a bit closer to you... but of course you can always just come down to Florida too!
You did an awesome job. The tour was very informative. I watched another tour by another YTbr and she said that there are only three food options. Your video shows otherwise. Much appreciation. Love From DC "Portia"
Thanks so much, Jeff! We really appreciate the support and are so happy to hear that our channel is helping your family to enjoy Florida to it's fullest!
Glad I found you guys. I really enjoyed the overview that offered so much information. I have cruised 6 times with MSC and can attest that all you have said is spot on. I broke down on cruise 2 booked yacht club. “I am ruined”. LOL, I have never been back to the regular part of the ship. Yes it costs more but the services offered are just so expansive. Please give it a try. I will subscribe and look for a review someday, hopefully!
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your MSC experiences too. A lot of people are curious about this cruise line since the reviews vary quite a bit. We finally did cruise in the Yacht Club! If you haven't yet found that episode, here is a link to it: th-cam.com/video/9Mgl6qsXmD8/w-d-xo.html I am curious if your yacht club experience was similar to ours!
We're so glad you discovered our channel and we hope our video helps you to make the most of your cruise on the Seascape! Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
I love this video! I've never taken a cruise before and I'm looking at several different cruise lines. I think Celebrity looks soooo nice but I might want to do a little more budget minded cruise the first time. This ship looks very promising to me as a first cruise option. Thank you SO MUCH for this WONDERFUL review!!! 🙂
Thanks, Rhonda! Celebrity is very nice. It's the first cruise line we ever sailed on and probably still our favorite overall... especially when it comes to food, drinks, and service. But as I'm sure you've discovered, it's also a bit pricey. The Seascape is a really great cool ship. You'd have to book in the Yacht Club to get Celebrity level food/drinks/service, but if you're looking for a great budget option, then a standard room on the Seascape would be hard to beat!
Hi guys !!!! Love your videos , thx for sharing with us. I booked a cruise yesterday on this same ship . Yacht Club experience for the first time. After watching this amazing video. I'm sooo excited and can't wait for the adventure. Greetings from Miami.
Our pleasure, Alex. That's so exciting that you'll be cruising in the Yacht Club soon! We actually just finished our video documenting our entire Yacht Club experience, and it will be available to watch on our channel beginning at 10 AM EST tomorrow morning. We hope that it will help you prepare and to get even more excited about your cruise!
We're happy to hear you gave one of our Cruise videos a chance, James! It's always a fun change of pace to get on a ship for a few days. As we experience more of these ships, we get better at learning how to avoid the worst of the lines and the crowds, which really makes them much more enjoyable.
I was on the msc seascape last summer 2023. We had 11001, it was a very good cruise ship but i think the theater shows were a little boring, i think it was for kids more😂 I also played basketball on the top floor, i think floor 11 or 12.
Now this is nice ship, i am going on Royal Caribbean wonder of seas in march 2025 i may have to check out MSC cruises after i do Royal, my first cruise which was 2018 was the Norwegian escape
Thank you so much for watching, MSC does have some very nice ships! We've not yet been on Wonder of the Seas, but we have been on the Norwegian Escape and really enjoyed it.
I watch A LOT of cruise ship videos and I know it's not the main focus of your channel....but this video was among the best I've ever seen. Every aspect of it was spot on! Looking forward to your Yacht Club video and whether you feel the extra expense is worth it.
Wow thank you so much for this incredibly kind and encouraging comment, Dan. You're right, cruise videos are not our primary focus, although they probably would be if it was 100% up to Jamie! But even I (Skylar) do love an occasional cruise. No matter what kind of video we are making, we put our best effort into it and try to do it honestly and in our own, unique style. We're so happy to hear that it shows through! I'm working on the Yacht Club video as we speak and it's turning into a monster of a video (probably 35 minutes or more)... but we're hoping to have it ready by Saturday. Welp... back to work!
I am totally overwhelmed by this video. If I book this trip I’m not sure if I would faint from excitement or try and book a month cruise to get it all in.
LOL that's understandable. I edited this one in an even faster than usual pace, so while it's still a 24+ minute video, it's pretty much 24 minutes of chaos. It's a bit of an experiment really... we'll see how it does over the long term compared to our other 30+ minute tour videos. As always, thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. We hope you do find your way onto one of these ships eventually!
Which month did you cruise on this ship? I noticed you saying the water was cold as you went down the water slide. The water slides and kids pirates cove aqua park looks pretty shaded. Just curious if the water is still cold in the summer months as we are going in August? I'm a cold wimp and so are my kids, lol.
We sailed in October. The weather on the cruise was overall quite warm, but the water definitely was a bit chilly! In the summer it would feel great though in our opinion.
We never noticed much rocking on the Seascape or became sea-sick, but of course you can have rocking on any ship (even the huge ones like this one) if the seas are rough enough. More often than not though, rocking should be minimal.
There was a theater show every night at 9:30 on our most recent MSC cruise. Some days there was also a 7:30 show int he theater. There also was a variety show in Le Cabaret Rouge at 7:00 most nights.
Thanks so much, Sylvia. We wish a crew member would have let us know about the Venchi pronunciation... I think we've mis-pronounced it in 4 different videos now😂. At least we know now!
I must say it looks amazing. Some old friends of ours just returned from a cruise and they immediately booked another. Not sure its something the Mrs and I will do and I must admit that this is the first cruise video I've watched of yours...I'll keep watching and keep an open mind...
Thanks so much for having an open mind and watching our video. Cruising definitely isn't for everyone. Jamie enjoys it more than I (Skylar) do, but I still do enjoy a cruise every once in a while. It's a great way to see several different islands/countries in a short period of time. We always feel like we never have enough time on the islands, but it's through cruising that we discovered a few different islands that we would later come back to for longer vacations. Of course if you easily get seasick or can't stand lines/crowds you'll be less likely to enjoy it, but you could always just give a short 3-dayer a try some time!
We didn't think so. It's very similar to Meraviglia and the Seaside, which we also cruised on recently. All of the ships are quite new and look amazing. Many complain these ships are understaffed, which we do agree with to some degree. But for the price you pay to cruise on these newer MSC ships, we think the value is fantastic.
I know that they do often change up the theme nights, so we couldn't tell you for sure what events would occur on what nights. I'd probably try to ask in one of the Seascape Facebook groups. Often times those groups will have members who are currently sailing or have at least sailed recently who are able to provide information regarding what's currently happening on the ship. We really hope you enjoy your cruise next weekend!
I think the 48" kid should be able to go on all of them, not sure about the 42" kid though, as I've seen info online stating the height requirement is 48" in some places, but 42" or 40" in others. It's likely that different slides have different heigh requirements. Next time we tour a cruise ship we'll have to make sure to take note of the different height requirements.
The Yacht Club area (where we spent most our time on this ship) is definitely a slower pace, and we could certainly see how some (especially younger, more active people) would find it a bit boring. The newer MSC ships to all have quite a few parties and other things going on though, so probably at least worth a try for you!
@@Explorcation I just got off last week, and I'm like, wait a second, is this...The Seashore? Hahaha. I'm thinking of doing a 7 nighter in the Western Carribean, and honestly, knowing it's a carbon copy, nearly, of the Seashore, has me even more talked into doing it. That ship is a beauty.
@@MaNiMaBaLLa 😆we knew from looking at the deck plans that it would be pretty similar but we weren't expecting all of the decor to be the same too! It was kind of nice to already be oriented to the ship as there are some confusing areas in the layout, we we do agree it is a beautiful ship. Thanks so much for watching!

Yeah, it's very similar for sure! Never been on Seashore yet, but from pics I've seen they seem very similar.
Hi I am thinking about going on this
@@laurawild5785 we hope you have a great time if you decide to book!

Thank you so much for the kind feedback... and yeah definitely more than 3 food options. You just can't ever trust those TH-camrs 😂
Love your content. I watch almost every video. My family recently moved to FL and your content is a huge help when we want to have fun.

hello 👋 i booked this cruise for march and i’m a little bit worried since i’ve seen bad reviews is it a bad cruise? i’m doing the 7 day Caribbean trip

Another great video ! Buuuut you couldn't get me on a cruise ship if they paid me lol
Thank you! We're happy you can still get a bit of the cruise experience through our videos without ever having to actually get on a ship!
Can you guide where to find an itinerary for the theme nights? Sailing on Seascape next weekend and we can't find any information.
What was the hight minimums for the water slides? Trying to see if this ship would be a good fit. Kids are 4 & 5, 42” and 48”.
How wide are the standard stateroom doors?
I'm so sorry but we do not have this information. You may want to inquire directly with MSC for an answer.
How much is this cruse line than all the other ones 😊
the boat looks abit boring but it’s very pretty! I guess I’m stuck on Celebrity Cruise! I will consider trying it in April
The Yacht Club area (where we spent most our time on this ship) is definitely a slower pace, and we could certainly see how some (especially younger, more active people) would find it a bit boring. Yes, we actually just got off the Seashore and it was hard to find any differences whatsoever.
