We sailed on the Seascape November 4-11, Yacht Club. November 4 was my birthday and they decorated our cabin and provided a birthday cake! We were very impressed and already booked another Yacht Club cruise for 2024!
Glad you guys found the MSC Yacht Club. We've been cruising in the Yacht Club since 2015 and never left! My favorite perks are the Top Sail Lounge, the Yacht Club pool deck, and the Yacht Club staff - they are the best.
You and us both, Fred! We sure do understand how you would never go back to normal cruising after experiencing the Yacht Club... and we couldn't agree more regarding your favorite perks. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. We appreciate it.

I've watched a lot of cruising videos and I've got to say this is the best one I've ever seen. I loved how you showed everything (even what might seem mundane like boarding and meal times) it really captures the essence of being there. ❤
Wow thank you so much for this incredibly kind and encouraging comment! We know there are a lot of channels out there that do nothing but cruising videos, so it's really nice to hear that our cruise content is up there with the best!
My wife and I will be sailing in May for our 30th anniversary, and I booked the Yacht Club experience for a seven night cruise on the same itinerary you two sailed. I love this video, thank you for sharing.
Congrats to you and your wife on 30 years of marriage. We couldn't think of a much better way to celebrate than a week in the Yacht Club. We really hope you two enjoy it every bit as much as we did. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment.
You are most welcome. Thank you, I was thinking the exact same thing when I booked it. I also want to look into Princess Cruises, departing out here on the West Coast later this year or early 2025. I will check to see if you two have a review on that cruise line.
@@nc_tru_gent1960 We've been wanting to do Princess cruise too... especially since we heard their pizza is even better than MSC's 😂 I'm still not sure I believe that, but I have hear really good views about Princess cruises in general. We're planning to go on a few more cruises this year, so hopefully at least one of them will be a Princess one.
Thanks, Danny! We were pretty shocked when we got the email saying we'd been upgraded. We'd been dreaming of sailing in the Yacht Club for a while, but figured it would be a few more years down the road!
Great video. My wife and I are taking our cruise on the MSC Seascape in a couple weeks. After watching your video we decided to offer a bid for an upgrade and it was accepted. We can't wait. This will be our 40 anniversary cruise. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow that is so awesome! You guys are in for an amazing experience. Congrats on getting your bid accepted and on your upcoming anniversary! 40 years is a great accomplishment.
Great overview! Thanks for sharing. You got a great deal. Sailing on Seascape in an Inside YC suite for the first time in January 2025. I am hoping for a chance to upgrade to a YC deluxe balcony. In July, we are trying the new MSC World America in one of the YC duplex suites.
Thanks so much, Melissa. Yeah, we're thinking that may have been a once in a lifetime deal, but we sure made the most of it! Wow we would love to experience the MSC World America... especially from a YC duplex suite. We're sure that experience will be absolutely amazing!
Thank you so much for this incredibly kind and encouraging comment! We had so much video footage to sort through to make this episode, but we're really happy with how it turned out. We hope you have an amazing time on your cruise!
Hello. Very nice vlog. It grew on me as time went on. Question for you, please. The suites do not have full chaise lounges on the balcony? My wife loves sitting /laying on the balcony!
I just booked a week ago a 7day cruise out of miami on the MSC World america in the duplex suit in the yacht club for my fathers 60th birthday. we are very excited to experience it. Thank you for the full review.
Yea we were shocked when our bid was accepted! We may never get a deal quite this good again, but we sure will bid on the Yacht Club in the future as it was such a great experience. Are you thinking about sailing in the YC anytime soon? If so, we will be very excited to see your experience! We appreciate you watching and commenting ☺️
You guys got an excellent rate and worth every penny. Thank you for your video and all the tips, especially about the chocolates at night! I just booked three (3) separate 7-night cruises in the YC and paid full price for one person, about $3,000. I just can't deal with the masses on the standard cruise decks. I hope to be upgraded to a suite and that would be worth it. If not, I can cruise in peace and quiet! 😁 I just subscribed to your channel and will definitely check out your other related videos. Again, you guys do a good job at producing videos.
We totally understand no wanting to deal with the big crowds and lines when on vacation, and we're excited to hear about your upcoming cruises in the Yacht Club. Thanks so much for subscribing and taking the time to watch our videos. We really appreciate the support!
For real, you two make hands down my favorite cruise content. Jaime is beautiful, Skylar is hilarious, and both of you are clearly very passionate and dedicated to your channel. I noticed, while I was watching this video, that I was not yet subscribed. That error has been addressed lol. I have now used your channel to preview 2 cruises we planned, and the info you provided made both so much easier and more enjoyable. Keep up the good work, and thanks for the entertaining videos!
Wow thank you so much for this comment. It really is so encouraging. That said, I'm a little bit disappointed that you didn't also mention how beautiful I (Skylar) am. Kidding, Jamie definitely brings more to the table in that department 😂. But anyways, thank you for correcting that critical error! We're excited to know that our channel has helped you with your cruise planning, and we truly appreciate the support!
Yacht club is definitely worth it. Your cruise looked like heaven didn’t even look over crowded in regular areas. We did Meraviglia out of Brooklyn in July, HOt and crowded. We’ve sailed regular experiences on msc too. The food in yacht club especially the lunch on pool deck is significantly beyter
It certainly was the closest thing to heaven we've ever found on a cruise ship! We certainly agree with the food being a level up in the Yacht Club. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Great video guys. I do appreciate how you "honestly" break down ALL the fees involved with cruising. Some editors will leave out the port charges AND tipsss/day. Thank you. You know what else i've enjoyed with your videos ....it's the funny/silly out-takes at the end (seen those in other videos) 😎👍
Thank you so much for the kind comment and honest feedback. We really do appreciate it! Whenever we have funny bloopers/out-takes, we do try to include them in the videos. We used to put them at the end, but more recently we've been trying to work them into the main portion of the videos.
Nice video, and very thorough. So happy you got such a bargain. DW and I have cruised YC several times. For reference, on our most recent cruise, we paid over 6K for a 7-day cruise with the standard YC balcony suite. So congratulations to you! We too have gotten bargains in the past, once less than 4K for the same 7-day cruise using the bidding process. Fortunately, the price isn't a huge issue for us, we love the YC. Thanks again, we really enjoyed seeing your video.
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment about your experiences. We were very fortunate to get that good of a bargain. Hopefully someday we'll be in a position where paying normal Yacht Club prices isn't a big deal for us, but until then, we'll keep trying our luck through the bidding process!
Thanks so much. We're glad you discovered our channel and that you're enjoying it. We really set out to be a Florida/Caribbean focused travel channel, but due to COVID and travel restrictions we really focused around home here in St. Pete. It lead us to discover so many great spots close to home that we otherwise never would have, and to grow to love this area even more!
Thanks for the detailed overview. We're intrigued by the Yacht Club and might have to try it based on your experience. And, y'all should have bought a lottery ticket after winning that upgrade!
Yeah, we probably should have bought a lottery ticket. We've been having a decent string of good luck lately after what seemed like at least a couple years of bad luck!
roughly 5500.00 not that bad seemed very secluded from the rest of passengers tho.(this experience) overall was a very wonderful video especially the food thanx for sharing..
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. It was a really secluded experience for a cruise ship, and we do think that many would find it to be well worth the price.
@@kolyantransportation5798 try the fish and mozzarella on the poolside buffet in the YC, scan your YC card outside the elevators - sometimes they come faster and go directly to your destination, don't spend all your time in the Yacht Club area on Ocean Cay, there are better beaches to experience.
OMG Guys, you got such an amazing deal on this suite and would definitely look into that for ships leaving from here. I'm amazed at the limited numbers, luxury service and well worth it for the money you paid. Wow Skylar, your hair is getting so long - I Love it !
It really was too good of a deal to pass up. We're definitely not in a situation to where we'd consider paying full price, but at less than a third of full price we'll take it every time! It really was a completely different kind of cruise experience, and we understand why so many people who cruise in the Yacht Club say they'll never go back to normal cruising (although we probably still will).
@@AquariusTraveller exactly! We will go back to a standard experience and still enjoy it for the price, but we will also keep an eye out for deals on those more luxurious options too!
Great video!! Glad I found you two....(and I just subscribed!). I am about to book my first MSC cruise (I usually sail NCL) and your video was extremely informative. I love that, like myself, you are both foodies and rated each dish. But I was blown away that they did not know how to make any of the cocktails you requested on your first night. WTF?? How is that possible on a cruise ship....and in the Yacht Club???!! -- And to answer your question....YES, I would spend the extra $$$ for the Yacht Club....just for the embarkation alone, but also to avoid the mobs at the buffet and restaurants. Thanks again for a great video.
We're glad you found us too, and thank you so much for the sub! Yeah, we were a bit surprised by that whole drink situation too, but thankfully the bar where they COULD always make them was just down a short flight of stairs. While our Yacht Club experience wasn't perfect, it was the closest thing to it we've experienced on a cruise ship, and we really hope that you have a great experience too if you do decide to pull the trigger on an MSC Cruise. BTW... what has been your favorite NCL ship? We've sailed on a few of them (Getaway, Escape, Epic) and really enjoyed them, but were hoping to get on another 1 or 2 NCL ships this year.
@@Explorcation I love NCL and their smaller ships. They are the only ones I like to cruise. My favourite is the Gem. Have sailed the Gem quite a few times. I have also sailed the Jewel and Dawn...which are great. I have been on two of their big ships.... the Joy and the Getaway...(because I joined some friends who had booked with them)...but don't think I will do that again. Not a fan of the large mega-ships. Four or five thousand people (or more). Just too crowded for me. Floating cities. Though the Haven on the Joy is amazing!! This is why I am still debating the MSC cruise. And I just found out that the Meraviglia has a capacity of 5700 passengers. Waaaaaaay too much for me. If I do decide to book it, I will probably never leave the Yacht Club. But videos I am seeing about the mediocre food and drinks are swaying me to not book it. Hard to top NCL food...especially if you are in the Haven. Don't think I want to sail knowing the food is going to be below NCL's rather high standards. (And BTW...the food on NCL is even better than Viking. Viking is mediocre at best...for all of their fancy advertising. I was so disappointed.)
@@Explorcation If you need the bells and whistles...water park, slides, race cars,, etc, etc,...the small ships are not for you. They do have a casino and the Thermal Spa is great on the smaller ships... (you have to pay to join and they limit the number of people who can join).
Great video! Its hard to find cruisers that appreciate MSC. We did our first cruise with them last year and loved it and are planning our 10 year anniversary on the seashore YC next year. I watched the majority of the video and for some reason cannot see where the info on how you got your great deal. We are live in Palmetto FL and love the convenience of cruising out of FL! Also, going to check out your local videos.
Looks amazing, just upgraded to the YC today for a May sailing. What month did you guys go and did you book through MSC? I want to see if I can come close to recreating your deal!!
Thank you so much for this incredibly kind comment! We always hope to entertain people, but also to inspire them to get out on their own adventures, and we're glad to hear we hit the mark on this one!
Wow you guys are awesome don’t know if I could do a cruise ship I am definitely claustrophobic. I love your videos on Punta Canna, I love your videos in Florida I live at Venice Beach and you guys have some stuff in there that I had no idea that was here and I don’t been living here for eight years thanks again you guys are awesome great couple awesome advice and super in-depth details on everything God bless
Thanks so much for the kind comments, Robert! Yeah, a typical cruise is probably not the best choice for someone who is claustrophobic, but the Yacht Club may be something that you could really enjoy as you can really avoid the crowds most of the time. You are blessed to call Venice Beach home. It's one of our absolute favorite spots in Florida, and we may just end up there someday when we are ready to slow down a bit!
I sailed on the Seascape in YC the week of November 11th and the experience was top-notch from start to finish. The only YC that was a little better was Grandiosa in Europe.
Thank you... we here Cay pronounced both ways... even different ship captains seem to pronounce it differently.... and we've always been so confused on which one is actually right! Good to know though that it's Cay. Good to know about Venchi as well... we had no idea about that one!
Lovely video !!! I would definitely book Yacht Club - deal or no deal :-). May I ask which beach you liked best on their Private Island ? I enjoy a soft sand entry and lots of gorgeous water colors..... Cheers to you both and thanks again !
Thank you so much! We really hope you do get a chance to experience the Yacht Club for yourself someday! Regarding the beach on Ocean Cay, our favorite is Bimini Beach. It's one of the farthest to access from the ship, but it's well worth it in our opinion.
Bimini Beach it is !!! We can't wait to experience the Yacht Club - their private expansive pool and jacuzzi deck with all those seating options appear to really out shine NCL's Haven on its Bliss-class ships, as we were on it last year. It'll be fun to compare ! Enjoy all your travels and thank you most kindly again !!! m.@@Explorcation
@@marciasanguinetti3900 we can't wait to hear how your Yacht Club experience compares to NCL's Haven. Please come back and let us know if you get a chance! We hope you have a wonderful time!
I believe we've been on 5 Celebrity cruises between the two of us but none since COVID and none in the retreat. We are itching to get back on one though and would love to try out the retreat some day.
Oh! My! Word! What a *fantastic* experience you received with the Yacht Club deal!! This video is superb! I love that you showed the entire Yacht Club experience. I love seeing all the food you chose (along with each of your ratings) and I love that you showed some of the excursions you enjoyed off ship. I enjoyed this little vacay along with you guys. Tell me, would this ship be your MSC fav even if you hadn't been in the Yacht Club? I am very much considering an MSC cruise so I'd like to make the best choice. Thanks so much for this video...I LOVED it! 🙂
Thank you so much for this comment, Rhonda! We've never made a 40+ minute video before (or this vloggy of a video before), so the positive feedback is really appreciated. It's hard to pick a favorite among the 3 MSC ships we've cruised on. They are all similar in many ways, but the Seascape is the newest and most modern of the three, and we love the infinity pool/whirlpools that the other ships don't have. We really love that the Seaside had a second (less busy) buffet option and also the best looking (for a fee) restaurants, and we loved that the Meraviglia had the awesome Promenade area (with the LCD ceiling like Freemont Street it Vegas). So it really comes down to personal preference.... we'd honestly just pick the one that had the best itinerary and/or prices.
Well that is a really great deal you guys scored. I'm going to have to figure out how to do the room bidding thing. Do you have to be invited to do that or can anyone give it a shot? Thanks guys....great stuff!
It really was, Dan. You don't have to be invited to do the room bidding... it's available to everyone we believe as long as there are open rooms available. We do believe that your chances of getting to bid on a room (and having that bid be accepted) are going to be higher if you cruise during hurricane season.
I just paid full price for the yacht club on World Europa full suite. I am OK with it because I do not want to deal with the crowds and craziness. I saved my money with other parts of my trip to Italy with my daughter who's studying in Firenze. I am excited with all of your information but I suspect that we will need to dress up more than the boats in the Caribbean.
We've heard some great things about the World Europa ship and I'm sure the Yacht Club experience will on it will be nothing short of amazing! We hope our video helps you to make the most of your cruise. Thanks for watching.
we recently sailed on MSC Seashore (Seascapes sister ship,I believe). we were in 'gen-pop' and other than a few times where we felt crowded, loved it. How 'involved" are the butlers and wait staff in Yacht Club? the rooms look dope and I like the smaller crowds but we really don't like having someone looking after us constantly, if that makes sense.
That does make sense. As far as our experience with the butlers, it seems they are as "involved" as you wanted them to be. Ours checked in on us when he saw us around the Yacht Club and in the afternoon he would leave us special snacks. We honestly didn't ask him to do much since we were out and about filming most of the cruise, but if we wanted, he would have done more, like escorting us to different areas of the ship outside of the Yacht Club. We never felt like he was looking after us much.
Many years ago I was flying from Dallas to Orlando and the plane was full. A woman with a child came to sit next to me. It was an MD-80 aircraft with 2-3 seating. I was on the "2" side of the aisle, and the woman had an infant. The infant began SCREAMING the moment the plane took off and I was looking forward to 3 hours of h-e-l-l. A very clever stewardess came and said to me..."Sir, if you would be so kind to allow this woman to have your seat for her child, we will move you up to First Class and give you the full First Class service at no charge" I had to think about it a mome..."YES!!!!!!!!!!!! OK!!!!!!!!!!!!" I have always been a gallant gentleman like that! A regular knight in shining armor! First class was great! The food and service were better and the seat was much more comfortable. It was the first time I had ever experienced 1st class. Next time I flew that route, I checked on the price for that flight...$400 MORE than coach class! More than double the coach fare! For three hours and 1 meal. I don't drink alcohol anyway, so free drinks is worthless to me. Sorry, it was not THAT good! MSC is great, we enjoyed our cruise on the Seaside (your video helped a lot) and we will definitely return for another cruise next year on MSC. We got a great deal this year on a Bella Balcony room and we were very happy with that. The food and service were great and we really enjoyed Ocean Cay. But I can't see an advantage worth the expense of the "Yacht Club" costs. Just my opinion. Your videos are great! Thanks.
Wow that is a "no-brainer" of a decision if I've ever heard one! We've still never experienced first class on a plane, but I hope we will someday once we begin travelling a lot more and earning more miles. I have a feeling once will be plenty for us too, but we still want to experience it. We're really happy to hear our video helped you to make the most of your cruise on the Seaside! We had a great time in the Yacht Club and there were numerous advantages. That said, would we pay 4-5 times the price of a standard stateroom to cruise in the Yacht Club? No. But if we can ever get lucky enough to book it again for the price we did, we'd probably do it. Thank you so much for supporting our channel and taking the time to comment!
I enjoyed this very much. Thank you. However I'll be darned if I can locate the video you allude to wherein you enjoy the Dominican Republic for $50. Where is it?
We're glad you guys enjoyed this episode! We've been a little bit slow on getting the short about our cheap day in the Dominican out, but Jamie is working on it as we speak, and it should be up in the next day or two!
In your opinion, is dinner food quality on the yacht compared to main dining room similar? As our friends aren’t travelling yacht club, but we would consider having supper with them if food is basically the same in both areas? Thanks
No, not the same quality for food. Yacht Club is definitely a level up, both in the dining room and at the buffets. That being said, the prime rib they serve on prime rib night in the main buffet is the same as the prime rib in the Yacht Club restaurant (both very good). So perhaps you could consider eating with your friends on the prime rib night if you enjoy prime rib.
Sometimes we prefer being able to eat quickly and not having to change out of our pool clothes to eat! We always enjoyed the sit down dining experience in the evening, but sitting in a dining room for ours each day is usually not our favorite way to spend a day on a cruise... but to each their own!
Yeah, it's a bit unusual that there aren't more. There's so much to see and do around here, we could easily stay busy doing a St. Pete only channel if we wanted too... We plan to continue making St. Pete content for the foreseeable future, but we love to travel way too much to do nothing but.
Hey guys - QQ. I’ve heard on at least one MSC Yacht Club sailing they had a problem with a smoke smelling room. I have asthma and that’s a deal breaker. Did you have any issues with your room? Thx! Jeff
Hi Jeff, thanks so much for watching. We didn't smell any smoke in our room, but our room was located near the entrance of the Yacht Club section, pretty far away from the front of the ship. I mention that because (at least on this ship) Yacht Club guests were able to smoke on the outdoor area at the very front of the ship (right in front of the YC lounge area). I would be curious to know if the rooms that previously had the problem with smelling smoke were located close to that smoking area. We hope you have a great experience!
I believe it depends on the country you are from and the country the cruise is sailing out of. If you are a US citizen on a cruise sailing out of and returning to the US, I believe you can get by with a drivers license and birth certificate, but you'd want to check with the cruise line to be sure.
Last time we were there, folks at embarkation were bragging 1 of their friends got a single occupancy inside cabin in the Yacht Club.... They would sneak their party of 8 in a few at a time. Kinda put me off booking.
Yeah that's pretty shady, and we understand how that could put you off from booking. Thankfully we didn't notice anyone doing that during our stay in the Yacht Club.
I have a hard time believing they got away with this for long. The YC crew really get to know everyone & most everyone wears the YC wristband to show they belong there. We even had it scanned a couple times at dinner to make sure we belonged in the area.
Thx. I just purchased a cruise trip with embarkation date May 25/2024 in Miami. I’ll try to get an upgrade after watching your video (very informative 👍👍) but am not sure how much it’s going to be.
I’m afraid to look up the price for this but I’m sure I’ve spent more on other trips. I’ve never experienced anything like this so I’m forwarding to the girlfriend as she wanted some Christmas present ideas from me.
Yeah... it's pricey for sure. We got a pretty crazy deal, but I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to get it again. If you are ever able to book the Yacht Club for the price we got it for though, we would 100% recommend you do so! Seems like a pretty great Christmas present to us!
LOL we're sure it doesn't. We've never been to Maryland and therefore have probably never had an authentic Maryland Crab Cake, but it's definitely getting added to our list of things to do. We're sure they are way better in Maryland!
Wow. I’m sorry you had to experience that. They should at least have observed what the “culture” was of the ship was and tried the”when in Rome”….. technique.
How long ago were you there? We've found that the island has looked better each time we visited... as you suggested, it's probably improving as it matures.
If we only ordered things that we knew what they were, half of the menu would have been off limits 😂 Thankfully Skylar will eat almost anything, so I can count on him to eat my order if I don't like it!
@@Explorcation It is good to try new things. But you rated the meal 1 out of 10 because it tasted like raw meat. Well, that is exactly what it was, and is what you ordered. I have no idea if it would be any good, because I would not have ordered it knowing what it was. We'll be in YC on Seascape in Feb. We save by getting an interior YC cabin, figuring we would not be spending much time in the cabin, and could use the ample outside areas of the YC. We previously sailed in a YC balcony on Meraviglia, right after the ships started sailing again. Only about 890 passengers on board. It was awesome.

I just booked a week ago a 7day cruise out of miami on the MSC World america in the duplex suit in the yacht club for my fathers 60th birthday. we are very excited to experience it. Thank you for the full review.
Wow that sounds absolutely amazing! We would be so excited too. We really appreciate you watching our video and taking the time to comment!
That is a FANTASTIC price, I'm so impressed! Thanks for sharing this video, very interesting :)
Coming from Emma cheapskate LOL!
I just subscribed to your channel and will definitely check out your other related videos.
Are kids allowed in the Yacht club?
@@sweetab624 yes
@@sweetab624Were there a lot of people coming/sneaking in who didn’t belong? How could they tell if they were?
Great video guys. I do appreciate how you "honestly" break down ALL the fees involved with cruising. Some editors will leave out the port charges AND tipsss/day. Thank you. You know what else i've enjoyed with your videos ....it's the funny/silly out-takes at the end (seen those in other videos) 😎👍
Thank you so much for the kind comment and honest feedback. We really do appreciate it! Whenever we have funny bloopers/out-takes, we do try to include them in the videos. We used to put them at the end, but more recently we've been trying to work them into the main portion of the videos.
Great video. I do love the honest food scoring. 👍
Thanks so much for watching and providing the feedback on the food scoring, Marc. We had a lot of fun with that!
Great channel, your channel seems to be the closest to a St Pete focused channel I can find in terms of exploring and attractions
We've been having a decent string of good luck lately after what seemed like at least a couple years of bad luck!
very good cruising
the ship looks big
the food looks so delicious
the beach looks so beautiful
Thank you so much, Kait. It really is an amazing ship with a lot to offer!
roughly 5500.00 not that bad seemed very secluded from the rest of passengers tho.(this experience) overall was a very wonderful video especially the food thanx for sharing..
Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment. It was a really secluded experience for a cruise ship, and we do think that many would find it to be well worth the price.
I like how you guys always drink 😂. Totally going to do the same😂
We don't ALWAYS drink 😂 but it's definitely one of our (mainly Skylar's) favorite past times.
@@Explorcation Yeah I'm just kidding. Going to yacht club in two weeks for 3 weeks trip. Any tips?
@@Explorcation you'll probably only go back cause you have to.... like me, it's not in your budget all the time!
@@eld4726 thanks for the info! We'll definitely have to give some of their smaller ships a look!
@@Explorcation If you need the bells and whistles...water park, slides, race cars,, etc, etc,...the small ships are not for you. They do have a casino and the Thermal Spa is great on the smaller ships... (you have to pay to join and they limit the number of people who can join).
@@Explorcation Forgot to ask....is there any kind of a gym in the Yacht Club or do you have to go to the ship's gym to workout?
Thank you fir sharing your great cruise ship trip!!!!😊😊 Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to the both of you!!😊😊😊😊
Our pleasure! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!
Nevermind, just read a little further down the comments and saw it was an accepted upgrade bid 🤣 sorry about that

Looks amazing, just upgraded to the YC today for a May sailing.
What month did you guys go and did you book through MSC? I want to see if I can come close to recreating your deal!!
That's awesome! We sailed in October of 2023. We hope you enjoy the Yacht Club every bit as much as we did.
Just adore you two! I love what you're doing and it makes me escape but also ask myself - why am I not there????
Thank you so much for sharing your Yacht Club experience! We hope that we are able to experience it on one of the other MSC ships someday!
Good coverage. Thanks. Here are two pronunciation tips: Venchi is pronounced VenKEY and Cay is also pronounced as KEY.
Thank you... we here Cay pronounced both ways... even different ship captains seem to pronounce it differently.... and we've always been so confused on which one is actually right! Good to know though that it's Cay. Good to know about Venchi as well... we had no idea about that one!
Try Webster's dictionary.

Great Video quick question How many celebrity cruises have you been on. Any in the Retreat? how does this compare?
We never felt like he was looking after us much.
well done good foodies
Thanks so much, John!
OK!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I have always been a gallant gentleman like that!
So how long did it take you to walk from the ship to the yacht club beach?
I think it was around 10 minutes or so (at a fast pace)
In your opinion, is dinner food quality on the yacht compared to main dining room similar? As our friends aren’t travelling yacht club, but we would consider having supper with them if food is basically the same in both areas? Thanks
No, not the same quality for food. Yacht Club is definitely a level up, both in the dining room and at the buffets. That being said, the prime rib they serve on prime rib night in the main buffet is the same as the prime rib in the Yacht Club restaurant (both very good). So perhaps you could consider eating with your friends on the prime rib night if you enjoy prime rib.
Why do you keep going back to buffet in the YC? Go to the restaurant?
Sometimes we prefer being able to eat quickly and not having to change out of our pool clothes to eat! We always enjoyed the sit down dining experience in the evening, but sitting in a dining room for ours each day is usually not our favorite way to spend a day on a cruise... but to each their own!
There's very few that do st pete content unless just passing through town or a 1 off visit
I've been in the yach club
Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
Do I need passapor if im not planning to get off of the ship?
I believe it depends on the country you are from and the country the cruise is sailing out of. If you are a US citizen on a cruise sailing out of and returning to the US, I believe you can get by with a drivers license and birth certificate, but you'd want to check with the cruise line to be sure.
How can I order pillows I have problems every time sleep good need more pillows?
If you book a room in the Yacht Club, they will ask you what type of pillows you want during the check-in process before you ever get on the ship.
Is this the Seascape? Tux
Yes it is.
Thx. I just purchased a cruise trip with embarkation date May 25/2024 in Miami. I’ll try to get an upgrade after watching your video (very informative 👍👍) but am not sure how much it’s going to be.
@@reneecheng215 that is awesome! Good luck 🤞 the upgrade bid rates will likely depend on how booked the ship is.

I'm sorry Eileen but I don't know what you mean by "the rip"
How do you guys manage to eat like that and stay skinny? I am verrry jealous.
We rock climb and walk alot and try to eat very healthy when we're not filming. If every day was a filming day, we'd be in trouble!

Yeah... it's pricey for sure. We got a pretty crazy deal, but I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to get it again. If you are ever able to book the Yacht Club for the price we got it for though, we would 100% recommend you do so! Seems like a pretty great Christmas present to us!
21:36 That does not look like a MARYLAND crab cake
LOL we're sure it doesn't. We've never been to Maryland and therefore have probably never had an authentic Maryland Crab Cake, but it's definitely getting added to our list of things to do. We're sure they are way better in Maryland!
I think drinks are now up to $18
Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!
Did you hear the constant announcements in different languages in the Yacht club?
Yeah, that was definitely something new to us!
Cold or ice water therapy is good for you
We've heard that! I (Skylar) would love to try it out someday, but I don't think I could get Jamie in one.
Wow. I’m sorry you had to experience that. They should at least have observed what the “culture” was of the ship was and tried the”when in Rome”….. technique.

The food is the one thing that changes every day, so there's lots to cover over the course of the week... and everybody likes to eat!
Tbh I find the Ocean K island to be extremely underwhelming and very "man-made" perhaps as it matures it'll be prettier
How long ago were you there? We've found that the island has looked better each time we visited... as you suggested, it's probably improving as it matures.
Tartare IS raw meat. If you didn't know that, you shouldn't have ordered it.
@@smmenci That would have been quite the experience sailing on such a large ship with less than 1000 passengers! we hope you have a great time on your trip in February, we agree that there should be ample space in the YC area to enjoy outside of your room.
