Yes it’s very strong stomp, the only counter for it is stealth on downed bodies

Like with the mortar, splash damage rules, enemy behind a gate or hiding on top of wall or skulking to side of mob. Nads though, I just feel dirty using them.

Ok I've been playing with engi since start. How to configure the controls so I can cast 5 on hammer like that on the target and the grenades, it is like you shoot them directly to target, I have to cast the green circle. could you please share how to seetup that control options ! ?

how do u deal with condi clean?

You don't, your only cleanse is on a minor Alchemy trait and Sigil of Cleanse when you swap to kit. The way you handle condi is just not getting hit by it, use your blocks, reflects, dodges, etc and measure the range kite always if you know the enemy class you know what they going to do so you can bait their attacks. The barrier from damage will also help you to soak most of it.
