I just got the expansion and wanted to try some of the new specs. Ofc I started with mesmer since is my fav class and main character and was really disappointed with the lack of offensive capabilities that I've read you talk about in other comments, but I just found this video and it looks so fun, going to try it tomorrow (although it's so sad that the celestial build is so underwhelming after how annoying it was to put together haha)

Heya ! First of all, thanks for all the amazing content, here and on your website, your leveling builds helped me out a lot with a guardian I created not long ago. I'd like to know something unrelated to the video though : which body type did you use for this character ? And also, what dyes did you apply on the outfit ? :) I'm loving her vibe.

Yea probably your camera settings, and other stuff, you need to watch these 3 videos entirely, trust me it will improve your gameplay A LOT:

great video. I would like to ask 23:28 why your Illusionary Leap can jump forward
Sword 3 on Virtuoso works as a leap (it's different than other mesmer specs because you don't get a clone), so if you detarget you can leap where you want to kite, and then take it back to return

Yes I think it will be better when we can use Shield on it, most of the changes in the patch were actually preparation for the expansion tbh.

It's pretty good you can see one duel against that on the video. For sure be careful to avoid the condi bomb from the elite mostly.

idk the pink plastic barbie daggers are just to much of an eye sore. Style matters, otherwhise you could just throw poo at your enemies. They'd surrender right away, very effective. Not so aesthetically pleasing.
All of this is old news virtuoso got changed hard and this build is not as good as it was.
Bladeturn Requiem doesnt block incoming damage at all anymore making it useless
Blade Renewal got its duration nerfed from 3 to 2 seconds making it less effective
Unstable Bladestorm is gimped and is static and doesnt move anymore
Yep build got nerfed but its still viable
