I made grill chicken in my new Morphy richards 54 litres.. I kept in grill mode for 50 mins at 230 C which is the highest.. and i kept it in rottesserie convection mode.. Is this the correct way ? Or i should use only rottesserie option.. Pls tell me the difference between rottesserie and rottesserie convection
From my experience, for perfect rotisserie chicken or baked chicken, bake at 180-200 for atleast 60-90 mins
Otherwise, the insides will be undercooked and the outside of the chicken will be dry and hard
On Amazon I saw a review of a morphy otg and the reviewer was showing pictures that the glass of the otg broke into pieces since then I am a little scared. Can you tell me the reason why the glass broked?

1. Use the "toast mode" when baking cakes.
2. Use the grill rack and place it in the center.
3. Preheat the oven to 180°C for approximately 8 minutes.
4. Fill the cake pan halfway with batter and bake at 140°C to 150°C.

Don't buy anything from Morphy Richards. Their after sale service is horrible. I have purchased this product and I'm suffering from their fake and horrible aftersale service. They will promise you resolve the issue within 3-4 days but it's almost a month my issue haven't been solved yet.
I recently bought MR's 60RCSS oven...ive been baking my cakes on the middle shelf @180* C using the baking tray ,but they are burning at the bottom each time i bake..Also, shall i keep the fan on while baking my cakes?Nothing is mentioned in the manual.

Bake it on 180* degree. First put on the bottom rods on only. Thn at the end put off the bottom rods and put on the top rods. Switch on the fan during the entire baking process.

You can use a glass utensil only if it is oven-safe glass. There is usually a symbol on the glass bowls that indicates whether it is oven safe or not. If there is nothing mentioned on the glass, please don’t put it in the oven.

In the convection mode, the OTG uses a fan to evenly circulate the heat within the oven. This results in more efficient cooking and even browning of your dish. In the OTG, select the Toast and Convection function to access this feature. Refer to the user manual for further instructions on using this function.

@ Morphy Richards 2 months back I purchased this OTG. I had just baked 2 times. After twice the usage of the oven , the baking tray and wire rack is not sliding properly. It was hard to remove and slide the rack back in the oven. Pls let me know what is the cause ? And how this sliding problem can be solved properly?

The Morphy Richards OTG can easily accommodate up to 9" baking dish. You should be able to get a 1 kg cake out of a baking tray this size.

When to use confection fan
The convection mode can be used for most dishes that require good browning or needs crispy food or roasting. Convection mode helps to add the perfect crisp and color to your food.
Hii recently bought this... my cakes are either burning 180 degree as per receipe or not cooked properly inside if i decrease temperatures..i tried 4 to 5 cakes but not able to bake perfectly...details information for cake is not there in manual...pls guide me..i am not sure what to do..pizzas are also burning...ur call center number is not working 😕
Hi, high temperatures between 200°C and 230°C are usually recommended for roasting lean cuts of meat and fish. Since dishes tend to dry out faster at high temperatures, they are usually cooked for a shorter duration. Cakes, casseroles, and pies are usually baked at a medium temperature range of 150°C and 180°C for a longer duration. A lower temperature range between 120°C and 150°C is best suited for dishes that are based on principles of slow cooking. If you're still not sure, bake your dish at 180°C, and keep a watchful eye on it as it cooks. Do let us know if you still face any issues.

For bakeing in which rack we have to keep and which mode
We would recommend using a wire grill rack in the bake mode.

Where do i place the rack for baking cookies in baking mode when using with the fan??
For baking cookies, it is advisable to place it on the first or second rack from the bottom. Pizzas, bread, cookies, cakes, pies etc all cook best in this position.

My bread is not bake in middle when I select bottom rods and fan with 220 degree

How many cake can we cook in one time
As the temperature at the center of the oven is an important factor, we don't suggest cooking more than 2-cakes at a time of 1kg each, placed side by side. However, the recipe for the cake also should be the same.
