  • Best pipe cutters, a must have when you install SCHEDULE 40( the best, thicker pipe which last forever and helps with limiting repairs and breaks) we use schedule 40,99% of pressure pipe.we do quality parts good craftsmanship =great systems no call backs (2% max) video was 1 time using, 4 plus years ago, now have two cutters and own atleast 12, 2’ victor cutters all needing spring rebuild kits, most taken apart never finished fixing. 2”cutters are a MUST have when installing or repairing with one inch to one and half inch schedule 40(thick pipe, rated at 450 psi). You never use thin wall(200psi) on pressure pipe or doing repairs) good repair tech will have 2 inch cutters otherwise they are installing CHEAP THIN WALL PIPE, wet &dry glue weakens connections on schedule 20,schedule 200,200,or thin wall(all names for pipe you don’t want to use) schedule 80 gray should be used if piping sprinkler riser’s, hose bibbs.use galvanized treaded 90’ to connect spicket(hose Bibb) to schedule 80 nipple
You can get 1/2’and 3/4’ lengths 18’,24’,26’48’.. use all galvanized on hose Bibb is available in needed lengths and size. Check me out

That doesn't actually look any easier or faster than a ratcheting cutter.

If you use 2” victor pipe cutters( or even 1”) .victor are made in Japan and are top quality,BUT they wear out way to fast and I got tired of rebuilding (spring kit) i purchased my 1st 12volt pvc Milwaukee pipe cutters at $160.00 it’s been 5 years or so. Only 1 $35 blade change which is 3 min job. If you cut a lot of 1” schedule 40 like ,myself 2” pipe cutter or The Milwaukee 12 volt is the ONLY way to go. You can cut schedule 40 w/1” pipe cutter unless the cutters are brand new maybe 4 weeks then your twisting it to cut pipe. And 2” Vic’s are not cheap $105 my last pair.
But if your cutting thin wall/200(sch.20) like most new construction installers ( cheapest bid win, if you can glue two pipes your certified irrigation, professional, very little experience people actually doing work. Unless it’s rare custom home builders that wants the quality of irrigation system installed to match a high quality/valued home builder(rare) I seen 500k-1.5 million houses w/. All sch.20 and cheap rain-bird dv100 w/out flow controls…sad. We do homeowner installs. Until I meet a builder that wants a system that works for a few years then you have yearly HIGH COST MAINTENANCE ( system not piped to be worked on easily etc.) so if your a thin wall guy I don’t recommend. Plus its great for 1-1/2” pipe and 2”

You’re either kidding or don’t care for doing quality cuts or work.
