You could do this same idea, with the NSO apps (Retro console apps). You can sort games by playtime, and then the app itself actually tells you the exact number of minutes, and if you press X to see the game's details you can see the playtime listed as "x hours y minutes". This is also useful to know which games you haven't tried
Did my previous comment get mistaken for a bot comment because it was too generic? I could have sworn I replied to this and even got a notification from this chain as if I had replied… Anyway, that’s neat! I’ll try that when I have the chance.
33:25 So this was actually me who first mentioned it in chat to you, Jon! The reason I said that is because it was ALSO my last location, and when you did the pan over the area…I was flabbergasted lol. Yes it was the Kings Study I believe? Right behind a wall in the library.
1 - pokemon Mystery dungeon Dx -2,880 hours - i only play it when a player needs a rescue 2- pokemon brilliant diamond - 1,870 hours - can't put it down 3- pokemon Scarlet -1,020 hours 4- pokemon Arceus - 590 hours - haven't beat Avalugg yet because i know what happens when you do 4- pokemon Violet - 540 hours - i play it off & on 5- Let's go Eevee - 520 hours - i stopped playing it when i beat it
I didn't do the exophase thing, so my numbers are rounded to 5 hours, but here is my top 5: 5. Super Mario All-Stars 115 hours 4. Steamworld Dig 2: 125 hours 3. Tetris 99: 220 hours 2. Super Bomberman R: 430 hours And.... number 1 is impressive, so get ready.... 1. Super Mario Maker 2: 5,010 hours. That is NOT a typo. Yes I have OVER five thousand hours in Super Mario Maker 2. I play this game a lot. Some honourable mentions include at #6 Art Of Balance with more than 110 hours, which I absolutely adore. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, comes in at #8 for me with a respectable 95 hours. The other game I have played that is over 100 hours is Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury, which is at 110 hours. Probably a full 10 hours of that was just me trying to beat Champion's Road! I wonder if I have ever been in a Tetris 99 match with Jon? Our time spent in the game is pretty similar. Some of these games I am still playing and others I am not. Steamworld Dig 2 is likely to fall out of the Top 5 since I still haven't finished all 3 games in All-Stars and I still play Art Of Balance regularly. The Top 3 is solid though and obviously nothing will ever topple #1 which is my top played game ever on any system!
i have like 700+ hours on xenoblade. if i hadnt deleted my save data it would have been more. i think i did everything in that game. in only the first week I got 110 hours in 7 days. i woke up and slept that game
I'm not sure what my most played game on the switch is, but I am fairly certain it is Xenoblade Chronicles 2. I know I spent about 600 hours in it, and then I did a second playthrough, so it's over 700, I'm sure.
Well, since you asked… prepare yourself. 380 hours in N64 Online (Mario Kart 64 Online?? It’s my childhood dream) 400 hours in FE Warriors (like Daniel it was also my first Warriors game) 400 hours in FE Three Houses (played every route except the Church route) 600 hours in EMBLEM, ENGAGE (best gameplay in the series) And then a massive jump… 2500+ Hours in Smash Ultimate. Video game legends collide in the ultimate fight!! How can you not play this forever?

@@dr.wolfstar1765 Honestly, after I finished the single-player mode that winter it came out, I've barely ever gone back to Smash. I think it's a combination of fading interest in the series along with the fact that all my old Smash buddies are adults with kids now. But I can't imagine what my Melee play time was back in the day.
Mine is like 1700 hours.... Just tons of single player and time spend messing around with mods. Gundam crossrays second at like 430 Mario Kart 8 at 230 Botw at 100
Here’s mine: 1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 472h 41m 2. Pokemon Sword - 440h 35m 3. Tears of the Kingdom - 151h 52m 4. Breath of the WIld - 121h 16m 5. Pokemon Violet - 119h 16m However, I got both versions of Pokemon games for Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet, so if I add the playthroughs from the other two games, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet overtakes Breath of the WIld by a little bit: 1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 472h 41m 2. Pokemon Sword and Shield - 464h 5m 3. Tears of the Kingdom - 151h 52m 4. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - 144h 52m 5. Breath of the WIld - 121h 16m Like Daniel, I also put a lot of hours shiny hunting in Sword & Shield, as well as a lot of competitive play, hence the playtime. For subsequent titles, I didn't have much time to do any of those because of work, school, and just life in general.
I appreciate the fondness you have for Animal Crossing: New Horizons! I agree that the world's collective lockdown made people burn through the game at a huge rate, and people perceived that more as a lack of content, instead of an abundance of free time. It DOES deserved to be remembered for the good times.
I have played over 500 hours of Tetris 99, but then Xenoblade 1 and 3 are next. I have replayed those stories multiple times because there is always something I missed and come to appreciate upon reexperiencing it.
From the "All Software" menu, sorted "By Play Time (Longest First)": 1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons + Happy Home Paradise (~1,200 hours) 2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 + Torna: The Golden Country (~590 hours) 3. Pokémon Legends: Arceus (~400 hours) 4. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (~370 hours) 5. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 + Future Redeemed (~300 hours) These hours are, of course, approximate based on recent Play Activity and memory. I don't believe my list goes below 200 hours until the 11th most-played game, or below 100 hours until the 17th. Context ahead. With ACNH, I had played literally every day between launch and February 2022 when finally I completed every Nook Miles achievement. With XC2, I played the base game three times-once normally, twice on NG+-and Torna twice. I'd collected every Rare Blade and completed their Affinity Charts. Once I finished the main story of PL:A, I completed every research task and quest. My hours in SSBU are from any modes that aren't online, mainly, although I played enough online to finish the Challenge Boards. It's also important to me to maintain a full spirit list, so I've been popping back in recently. XC3 and FR I've played just the one time so far, but that may change in the future with NG+. Lots of exploring, maxing every class on every character, the Soulhacker list, and so on. Real quick, for anyone's curiosity, the rest until sub-100 hours: TOTK, P5R, FE3H, Ring Fit, BOTW, DQ11S, Octopath 1, XC:DE, Octopath 2, VOEZ, Splatoon 2. I love all your discussions, especially as we near the anniversary of the Switch. There's a chance this is the final one before the alleged launch of its successor, so it feels like a good time to look back. Reckon it goes without saying, you all have some great titles at the top. I agree with a few others-if they have time, it'd be fun to learn the same from Ash, Brandon, and Steve, though some games may not be too hard to imagine. ;)
I bought my switch in April 2023, My top 5 games are: 1: Animal Crossing 2: Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 3: Front Mission 1st 4: Mario Golf: Super Rush 5: Final Fantasy Theatrhythm: Final Bar Line
1. Animal crossing new horizons - 910h 2. Fire emblem Three houses - 305h 3. Breath of the wild - 140h 4. Persona 5 - 135h 5. Tears of the kingdom - 125h

I'm pretty sure my most played game on Switch is either Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, or Monster Hunter Rise / Sunbreak. I've been big on Monster Hunter since Tri on Wii. Funny enough, I only got the game because at the time, it came bundled with a Wii Classic Controller which was the only thing I actually wanted. I had never even heard of Monster Hunter by then and had no idea I'd love it so much.
@@themegatonmenace1224 imma get that one first then. Not sure if both stories are connected but I guess it would be better to play 2 then 3. I played the first one on wii. Maybe I have to revisit that one too.
the neat site you recommended has to do maintenance now on switch syncing apparently, you guys advertised it too well! while i wait for that to go back up, the rough estimates on switch are: 1. smash ultimate: 540 hrs 2. xenoblade chronicles 2: 185 hrs 3. pokemon violet: 180 hrs i think new horizons is pretty close to this too, but that was leaving the switch on when it first came out
My fifth most played game on Switch is Castlevania Anniversary Collection (about 70 hours) because these games were difficult as hell for me, especially american version of 3d game, I even dropped it on level with three bosses and switched to japanese one. My third most played game is first Dark Souls (about 100 hours), which I played for the first time without any guides and tips, so after beating Bell Gargoyle I went back to the start location and aimed to Catacombs, completed it, got to the Tomb of the Giants, went through undefeatable for my level enemies without any knowledge about lamp and stuck in front of Nito's doors, after what I went trough these two locations in reverse order. And my whole playthrough was like this (I also kinda suck at bosses, so I spent 5 hours on Ornstein and Smough)
You guys have overloaded Exophase, so many people are trying to log their switch hours that they've stopped allowing this for now, well done for finding something so sick!
Made a friend in Dragons Dogma. Friends can use pawns no matter how high the level was. He has 620 hours in it. 9,999 hours(probably more) in the online Dragon Quest game that’s not available here in the US. Another friend has over 1,000 in eBaseball.
My number 1 game is Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist at over 900 hours 😂 Number 2 is Pokémon Violet with over 400 hours Number 3 is Mario Maker 2 at over 65 hours
This is making me want to get back into XC2. I paused my last playthrough somewhere in Uraya. I admit it's a tough area that I don't really enjoy, but if I can get through it I can enjoy the rest of the game.
A'ight, before I play the video, my top 5 most played Switch games: 1. Splatoon 2 2. Splatoon 3 3. Smash Ultimate 4. Dragon Ball FighterZ 5. Mario Maker 2 And several other games that didn't make the top 5. Honorable mention goes to Metroid Dread.
All games i put over 600h on 7.XC2: 635h 6.Pokemon violet: 650h 5.Pokemon sword: 685h 4.BOTW: 725h 3.minecraft: 765h 2.Legend arceus: 920h 1.Smash ultimate: 1,285h
It's nice to see to some people actually to still find Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to be their favorite of the 3 Xenoblade games, as much controversy it has. 5. Metroid Dread 80hrs 4. Monster Hunter Rise 169hrs 3. Baten Kaitos I&II HD Remaster 183hrs (Still have not beat either game mind you lol) 2. Chained Echoes 187hrs (Still have not beaten either lmao) 1. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 430hrs
My most played are, in order, Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak, Animal Crossing NH, Zelda BOTW, Hollow Knight and Zelda TOTK. Hollow Knight was one of the first games I ever played, it was so hard but I persevered 😅
This might be you most played on Switch but I can tell you THE most played game on Switch. It's Stardew Valley. Without a doubt. Always in the charts. Almost everyone I know with a Switch is continually playing it. I watch random TH-cam videos that are not video game related and someone is on their Switch. What are they playing... Stardew. I also happen to think that it is probably the most female played game of all time. Girls love that game. I think there are a lot of stats that Stardew dominates.
Mine are: 5) Splatoon 3 4) Super Mario Odyssey 3) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 1) The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Top played games: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (1045h 3m) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (695h 51m) Splatoon 2 (550h 46m) Splatoon 3 (464h 49m) Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (282h 10m) All I can say is Splatoon 3's about to easily pass 2 this year. And who knows, I'm 100h in Xenoblade 3 and I'm on chapter 3, so who knows what'll happen there!
I'm so happy to see others talk positively about Pokémon Sword and Shield. Despite the backlash and controversy, I adore those games, and have countless great memories from them. In comparison, I didn't even complete the gen 9 games because they were so soulless and boring
I also spent way more time in Pokemon Sword & Shield! Compared to Scarlet & Violet. I adore SwSh as well; I think because Gen 9 tried to do more than it could handle, its flaws and shortcomings were way more glaring.
That’s hilarious I felt the exact same about Sword and Shield as you do Gen 9 lmao Sword and Shield were the first mainline games ever (Ive been playing since Gen 1) that I didn’t finish (and still haven’t) Sword and Shields routes are just straight lines, the story is non existent from what I played, it’s the most bland, watered down, cash grab Pokémon game I’ve ever played I like the music tho
I’ve only had my Switch since the Fall of ‘21 and Breath of the Wild was the only game I owned for a good 6 months so I have over 1000 hours in that game between multiple profiles on both regular and master mode and trying to complete various challenge runs (3 hearts, straight to Ganon, no shields, etc.). My second most played is Tears of the Kingdom which is at around 300 hours, but the bulk of that was within the first two months of its release. My third most played is the N64 app with about 160 hours which was mostly Ocarina of Time and Paper Mario. Number four is Age of Calamity with about 120 hours and I’m stuck at like 98% completion because of the damn koroks lol. My number five is Cuphead at just about 70 hours and I’ve beaten it 3 or 4 times now and continue to go back to it. The runner up is Dark Souls Remastered which has all been from the last month clocking at just under 70 hours.
I played Smash Ultimate for 1287hrs, Animal Crossing: New Horizons for 370hrs, Splatoon 3 for 338hrs, Breath of the Wild for 164hrs, and Dragon Quest 11S for 153hrs.
Pretty interesting to see exact numbers for Switch; it was one of my favorite things about the 3DS and Wii U and I was sad to have lost it. I knew the amount of hours I'd put into my number 1 would absolutely tower over your guys' numbers, but I didn't expect even my number 4 to beat Derrick's number 1. 😂Here's my stats: #5: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (203h, 24 m) I didn't have a Switch at launch, so Breath of the Wild is a Wii U game to me, but even then I stopped at about 180 hours. Both games are incredible but I'm not surprised that Tears kept my attention for just that much longer. #4: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (319h, 9m) I am in the camp that thinks New Leaf was better, and had a lot more to keep you busy for longer like the multiplayer island tours, but I still think New Horizons was an amazing game, and I agree with Jon that we weren't meant to be locked in with it and burning through it like that. #3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (376h, 42m) What's there to say? An astounding game with an astounding amount of content. I've loved coming back to it recently for the new Spirit events. #2: Dragon Quest Builders (420h, 10m) Endless hours of fun to be had here if you seek it out. I recreated Clock Town and Traverse Town within it and that's where at least 2/3 of my playtime came from. It only could have possibly lost to... #1: Dragon Quest Builders 2 (1358h, 37m!) More than triple the number 2 spot! With online multiplayer and multiple islands to customize, and huge quality of life upgrades that make building so much faster and easier than the first game, it's no wonder this number is so high. I bet I spent at least Builders 1's entire playtime just helping my friends with their own builds online, and probably another 700 or 800 recreating a bunch of areas from the original FFVII like Wutai, Costa del Sol, the Gold Saucer and the Highwind. My favorite Switch game and one of my favorite games, period. I haven't played it in a while, but I wouldn't be surprised if this number eventually gets up to 1500 or even 2000.
Top played Fortnite 2000+ hrs Animal crossing new horizons 150+ hrs Xenoblade chronicles 2 100+ Stardew valley 100+ Pokémon scarlet 100+ Persona 5 royal 90+ SMT 3 nocturne 90 hrs
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 98h 21m 2. Pokémon Sword: 75h 18m 3. Breath of the Wild: 36h 0m 4. Pokémon Let's Go Eevee: 32h 7m 5. Pokémon Legends: Arceus: 29h 34m I'm not a huge Switch guy to be honest, but there's my top 5! Would love to see videos of your guys' hours on other platforms as well.
My most played games are: 1. Smash Ultimate 2. Xenoblade 2 3. Fire Emblem Three Houses 4: Xenoblade 3 5. Xenoblade Definite Edition I think I like Xenoblade. Doesn't include the 3 times I played through Xenoblade 1 on Wii/Wii U.
My top game is Pokémon Violet at over 1,000 hours. I'm a gamer but I'm also a cheapskate, I'll play the crap out of one game if it holds my attention to save some bucks. That's $0.06 per every hour of entertainment, what a deal!
My most played Switch game is Resident Evil Revelations 2 Raid Mode with 380 hours. I played the story once just zo get more characters! 😁😁😁 I still have 5 characters left to get them 100%. 💪
Of all the Switch games I've played; not counting the competitive games like Mario Kart 8 or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate or the ones getting remake/remastered like Metroid Prime Remastered or Kirby: Return to Dreamland Deluxe, I would say Metroid Dread, Dragon Quest 11: S Definitive Edition, Kirby & the Forgotten Land and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle are the games I've come back to back more times than any Switch games simply because the core of those games I whole hardly adore them for how the core & effort the games have and I played through many modes with those games. Like the difficulty modes in Metroid, playing both 2D & 3D style in DQ11, challenge modes in Kingdom Battle and for all the 100% completion. There also great for speedrunning. Especially Dread; which is not surprising since Metroid is famous for speedrunning. There's so many ways you can make the games come by quicker and the learning curves are not that hard to do. Combined with how great the core games are and so much effort into them, I can go back to these games and had an good time. That and I'm an big Metroid, Dragon Quest, Kirby & Mario fan. So that could also be an reason.
I sweat as I have over 4k hours for Smash (training for tournaments, world of light, training amiibo, and general go-to party gaming) and 3k for Three Houses and Xenoblade 2 (my most replayed games to 100%) Presona 5R is probably next. When I play something, I try to see and get everything (including NG+) which adds to my play time...
I agree that most people would normally have like 10/20 games for a whole console cycle and that is pretty much me with most other consoles. But on the switch I have over 150 games, the hybrid nature has meant ive had alot more time to play my games (on the bus to work, on my break at work) so ive found ive completed games quicker and got more games
My personal 5 most played has to be Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Miitopia, Super Mario Party and Pokemon Violet. Granted two of them were ports and one was an initally rushed and buggy mess but I still played it especially when I was lucky enough to avoid several issues. Honorable mentions are Link's Awakening, Streets of Rage 4 and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon DX.
My top 5: 1. Animal Crossing New Horizons = 545 hours 2. Hades = 350 hours 3. Pokemon Scarlet = 330 hours 4. Tears of the Kingdom = 300 hours 5. Breath of the Wild = 180 hours The only surprise is that I played THAT much more of Scarlet than TotK, but a lot of that is from playing with my best friend. Other than that, I knew AC was at the top bc I lived on that game during lockdown and I knew that I played MUCH more of TotK than BotW because I enjoyed the former substantially more.
My top 5: 5 - Pokémon Legends Arceus: 29h 31m 4 - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 30h 43m 3 - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 55h 15m 2 - Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 98h 55m 1 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 99h 33m
Even though it's not in my top five most played games, I want to give a special shout out to both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I found it especially hard to put the first game down until I beat it.
It's funny with BotW and TotK, I have 600 hours in BotW and 430 in TotK. With BotW that time is split between 3 playthroughs, with TotK its just one. I put in 100+ hours in its first week alone 😅
I played a lot of Animal Crossing at the start of the pandemic (like everyone else did) but I fell off after about a year I think? It just got to the point where I ran out of things to do. It just got really repetitive and chore-like.
Some of these may not be perfectly accurate, but my most played games are: Mario Kart 8 - 112 hours, 31 minutes Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 203 hours, 7 minutes Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition - 287 hours, 46 minutes Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - 400+ hours, played this game on multiple users and my profile's playtime count is definitely not accurate Super Smash Bros Ultimate - 747 hours, 27 minutes
My most played are probably xenoblade 2 & 3, and Persona 5 Royal. Persona 5 Royal I was determined to not miss a single thing and ended up playing for 500 hours, probably some of it was idling while I was looking stuff up, but that is the most recorded. Unfortunately my Switch malfunctioned so I had to send it in to get fixed, and when I got it back my hours on my account reset, so I'm not sure what my true hours for BotW, Three Houses, Xenoblade 2, Mario Kart, or Smash Bros. are.
The original fire emblem warriors game had Camilla in it🥰 that’s all it took for me to sink a bunch of hours into it😉 My most played games for anyone interested 👻 Xenoblade chronicles 2 @ 800 hours ( like the trilogy but X2 is my absolute favorite) Fire emblem warriors @250 hours Trails of cold steal 3 @ 300 hours Atelier Ryza 2 @ 400 hours Harvestella @ 333 hours Shinning Resonance @180 hours
My top 5 is as follows (excluding TH-cam, which is my #1 lol I watch a lot of it on my Switch): 1. BotW 2. Witcher 3 3. Xenoblade 2 4 Xenoblade DE 5. Xenoblade 3
i have no game exeeding 50 hours, just don't have the time anymore with kids, but my top 5 is FF X , FE three houses, FE engage, Pikmin 4 and then Pokemon sword
For some reason only the games I've played on my current switch are showing up. The hours from my previous switch are there but any game I haven't played on my new switch will not show up on exophase. Luckily I have most of the games still so I'm just putting in each game one by one and it will add them.
You know i don't feel so bad about my hours anymore seeing the boys and everyone in the comments' playtimes. Idk about the actual hours but #1 BotW- 420+ hours #2 TotK- 400 hours #3 Pokemon Legends Arceus- 250+ (not even done with it) #4 Smash Ultimate- 110+ hours #5 Mario Odyssey- 100+ hours

This is a thing? Holy crap thank you so much for sharing!
Oh cool! Yeah the Exophase site stopped syncing Switch games for now because of the influx of traffic. GVG’s video worked a little too well. 😂

Switch has been such a fun system and latest showcase has got me all pumped for more.
1 - pokemon Mystery dungeon Dx -2,880 hours - i only play it when a player needs a rescue
2- pokemon brilliant diamond - 1,870 hours - can't put it down
3- pokemon Scarlet -1,020 hours
4- pokemon Arceus - 590 hours - haven't beat Avalugg yet
because i know what happens when you do
4- pokemon Violet - 540 hours - i play it off & on

1) smash ultimate(405hrs)
2) BOTW (400hrs)
3) TOTK (110hrs)
4) Hollow Knight (105hrs)
5) Super Mario Odyssey (90hrs)
I didn't do the exophase thing, so my numbers are rounded to 5 hours, but here is my top 5:
5. Super Mario All-Stars 115 hours
4. Steamworld Dig 2: 125 hours
3. Tetris 99: 220 hours
2. Super Bomberman R: 430 hours
And.... number 1 is impressive, so get ready....
1. Smash Ultimate - 2,400 Hours

Well, since you asked… prepare yourself.
380 hours in N64 Online (Mario Kart 64 Online?? It’s my childhood dream)
400 hours in FE Warriors (like Daniel it was also my first Warriors game)
400 hours in FE Three Houses (played every route except the Church route)
600 hours in EMBLEM, ENGAGE (best gameplay in the series)
And then a massive jump…
2500+ Hours in Smash Ultimate. Video game legends collide in the ultimate fight!! How can you not play this forever?
I can’t link the site, but according to the Switch is
1. Three Houses
2. Smash Ultimate
3. New Horizons
4. Pokémon Shield
5. Xenoblade 2
I remember one time when Jon did a video like this back over on Nintendo life. Should check that out again see how much his list has changed
You know I havent been over there since jon left
Always enjoyable to hear you guys doing these discussions
1. Animal Crossing (285 hours)
2. Tears of the Kingdom (255)
3. Breath of the Wild (220)
Nothing else is even above 100 hours lol.

You gotta get those smash numbers up.
Don't want to look like a noob on the streets
@@dr.wolfstar1765 Honestly, after I finished the single-player mode that winter it came out, I've barely ever gone back to Smash. I think it's a combination of fading interest in the series along with the fact that all my old Smash buddies are adults with kids now. But I can't imagine what my Melee play time was back in the day.
Mine is like 1700 hours....
Just tons of single player and time spend messing around with mods.
Gundam crossrays second at like 430
Mario Kart 8 at 230
Botw at 100
1st. XC2 - 310h+
2nd. XC3 - 280h+
3rd. SSBU - 280h+
4th. FE3H - 175h+
5th. TLoZ BotW - 110h+
I love Xenoblade.
Here’s mine:
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 472h 41m
2. Pokemon Sword - 440h 35m
3. Tears of the Kingdom - 151h 52m
4. Breath of the WIld - 121h 16m
5. Pokemon Violet - 119h 16m
However, I got both versions of Pokemon games for Sword & Shield and Scarlet & Violet, so if I add the playthroughs from the other two games, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet overtakes Breath of the WIld by a little bit:
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons - 472h 41m
2. Pokemon Sword and Shield - 464h 5m
3. Tears of the Kingdom - 151h 52m
4. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet - 144h 52m
5. Breath of the WIld - 121h 16m
Like Daniel, I also put a lot of hours shiny hunting in Sword & Shield, as well as a lot of competitive play, hence the playtime. For subsequent titles, I didn't have much time to do any of those because of work, school, and just life in general.
1. Fortnite - 1840 hours
2. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - 1080 hours
3. Pokemon Sword - 443 hours
4. Animal Crossing New Horizons - 293 hours
5. Overwatch 2 - 214 hours
1. Smash Bros Ultimate
2. Splatoon 3
3. Breath of the wild
4. Mario kart
5. Borderlands the pre sequel
We gotta have Steve, Brandon, & Ash reveal their top 5 played games! Let's get a part 2!
Daniel with 700+ hours on ACNH makes me smile. Just such a wholesome game, especially with family.
From the "All Software" menu, sorted "By Play Time (Longest First)":
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons + Happy Home Paradise (~1,200 hours)
2. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 + Torna: The Golden Country (~590 hours)
3. Pokémon Legends: Arceus (~400 hours)
4. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (~370 hours)
5. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 + Future Redeemed (~300 hours)
These hours are, of course, approximate based on recent Play Activity and memory.
I agree with a few others-if they have time, it'd be fun to learn the same from Ash, Brandon, and Steve, though some games may not be too hard to imagine. ;)

1. Breath of the Wild 2. Super Mario Odyssey 3. Animal Crossing 4. Kirby's Return to Dreamland
Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak is my most played game.
That's when i became a fan of the series as well. I'm pretty sure i put hundreds of hours on the 3ds version. The loop is addictive
5) Persona 5 Royal 357 hours
4) Smash Bros Ultimate 425 hours
3) Xenoblade Chronicles 3 702 hours
2) Ultimate Alliance 3 1,040 hours
1) Xenoblade Chronicles 2 1,587 hours
Why did you play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 more than 3? Is it better?
@@1saacbcourt452 Depends on what you like more. A light hearted story with some dark stuff or a dark story with some light hearted stuff.
@@1saacbcourt452Xenoblade 2 came first, he played more because of it, both are great
It's partially because Xenoblade 2 has been out for a lot longer. However in my opinion Xenoblade 2 is better than Xenoblade 3@@1saacbcourt452
@@themegatonmenace1224 imma get that one first then. Not sure if both stories are connected but I guess it would be better to play 2 then 3. I played the first one on wii. Maybe I have to revisit that one too.
the neat site you recommended has to do maintenance now on switch syncing apparently, you guys advertised it too well!
while i wait for that to go back up, the rough estimates on switch are:
1. smash ultimate: 540 hrs
2. xenoblade chronicles 2: 185 hrs
3. pokemon violet: 180 hrs
i think new horizons is pretty close to this too, but that was leaving the switch on when it first came out
My fifth most played game on Switch is Castlevania Anniversary Collection (about 70 hours) because these games were difficult as hell for me, especially american version of 3d game, I even dropped it on level with three bosses and switched to japanese one.
Charming background music that matches each game
GODAYUMN YOU CAN'T JUST BE DROPPIN BURLY BEAUTIFUL FELIX ON US SO SUDDENLY. True goals
My top 5
Xenoblade 1 - 160 hours
Xenoblade 3 - 230 hours
Fire Emblem Three Houses - 260 hours
Xenoblade 2 - 360 hours
Smash Ultimate - 1400 hours
You are really worthy of your name.
You guys have overloaded Exophase, so many people are trying to log their switch hours that they've stopped allowing this for now, well done for finding something so sick!
Well, it's a good thing I made my account beforehand. It's super useful.
Made a friend in Dragons Dogma. Friends can use pawns no matter how high the level was. He has 620 hours in it.
9,999 hours(probably more) in the online Dragon Quest game that’s not available here in the US.
Another friend has over 1,000 in eBaseball.
My number 1 game is Yugioh Legacy of the Duelist at over 900 hours 😂
Number 2 is Pokémon Violet with over 400 hours
Number 3 is Mario Maker 2 at over 65 hours
Gotta respect the faith you have in your Grandpa’s cards
I never played Legacy of the Duelist. Is it any good?
Here are mine in this order: Astral Chain, Lumines Remastered, Super Mario Odyssey, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Mr. Driller Drill Land.
This is making me want to get back into XC2. I paused my last playthrough somewhere in Uraya. I admit it's a tough area that I don't really enjoy, but if I can get through it I can enjoy the rest of the game.
A'ight, before I play the video, my top 5 most played Switch games:
1. Splatoon 2
2. Splatoon 3
3. Smash Ultimate
4. Dragon Ball FighterZ
5. Mario Maker 2
And several other games that didn't make the top 5.
Honorable mention goes to Metroid Dread.
All games i put over 600h on
7.XC2: 635h
6.Pokemon violet: 650h
5.Pokemon sword: 685h
4.BOTW: 725h
3.minecraft: 765h
2.Legend arceus: 920h
1.Smash ultimate: 1,285h
It's nice to see to some people actually to still find Xenoblade Chronicles 2 to be their favorite of the 3 Xenoblade games, as much controversy it has.
5. Metroid Dread 80hrs
4. Monster Hunter Rise 169hrs
3. Baten Kaitos I&II HD Remaster 183hrs (Still have not beat either game mind you lol)
2. Chained Echoes 187hrs (Still have not beaten either lmao)
ToTK: 204 hrs
Mario Golf Super Rush: 150 hrs
Pokémon Sword: 117 hrs
BoTW: 99 hrs
Pokémon Violet: 92 hrs
This might be you most played on Switch but I can tell you THE most played game on Switch. It's Stardew Valley. Without a doubt. Always in the charts. Almost everyone I know with a Switch is continually playing it. I watch random TH-cam videos that are not video game related and someone is on their Switch. What are they playing... Stardew. I also happen to think that it is probably the most female played game of all time. Girls love that game. I think there are a lot of stats that Stardew dominates.
1) Splatoon 2 (2050h)
2) Smash Ultimate (635h)
3) Three Houses (495h)
4) Splatoon 3 (460h)
5) Xenoblade 2 (400h)
I come in here, eager to hear talk of switch games, and I'm bombarded with images of a shirtless ripped Felix.
Unsolicited but I'm not complaining 😅
Mine are:
5) Splatoon 3
4) Super Mario Odyssey
3) The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
2) Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
1) The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Top played games:
Animal Crossing: New Horizons (1045h 3m)
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (695h 51m)
Splatoon 2 (550h 46m)
Splatoon 3 (464h 49m)
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (282h 10m)
All I can say is Splatoon 3's about to easily pass 2 this year. And who knows, I'm 100h in Xenoblade 3 and I'm on chapter 3, so who knows what'll happen there!
My most played game currently is Fire Emblem: Three Houses at 1005 hours. I don't have the DLC.
For me, it’s:
1) Smash Ultimate - 1500+
2) Splatoon 3 - 660+
3) Splatoon 2 - 425
4) Animal Crossing New Horizons - 330+
5) Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - 275+
I'm so happy to see others talk positively about Pokémon Sword and Shield. Despite the backlash and controversy, I adore those games, and have countless great memories from them. In comparison, I didn't even complete the gen 9 games because they were so soulless and boring
Then complete gen 9 come on I spent almost 400 hours in that game more than shield in 385 hours
I also spent way more time in Pokemon Sword & Shield! Compared to Scarlet & Violet. I adore SwSh as well; I think because Gen 9 tried to do more than it could handle, its flaws and shortcomings were way more glaring.
The generation 9 games aren't soulless. Lol. The characters are great.
Sword and Shield is great for competitive. I really liked it but story wise, it was not good.
That’s hilarious I felt the exact same about Sword and Shield as you do Gen 9 lmao
Sword and Shield were the first mainline games ever (Ive been playing since Gen 1) that I didn’t finish (and still haven’t)
Sword and Shields routes are just straight lines, the story is non existent from what I played, it’s the most bland, watered down, cash grab Pokémon game I’ve ever played
I like the music tho
This video was really great! Keep it up, boys.
I played Smash Ultimate for 1287hrs,
Animal Crossing: New Horizons for 370hrs,
Splatoon 3 for 338hrs,
Breath of the Wild for 164hrs,
and Dragon Quest 11S for 153hrs.
😂Here's my stats:
#5: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (203h, 24 m)
I didn't have a Switch at launch, so Breath of the Wild is a Wii U game to me, but even then I stopped at about 180 hours. Both games are incredible but I'm not surprised that Tears kept my attention for just that much longer.
#4: Animal Crossing: New Horizons (319h, 9m)
I am in the camp that thinks New Leaf was better, and had a lot more to keep you busy for longer like the multiplayer island tours, but I still think New Horizons was an amazing game, and I agree with Jon that we weren't meant to be locked in with it and burning through it like that.
#3: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (376h, 42m)
What's there to say? An astounding game with an astounding amount of content. I've loved coming back to it recently for the new Spirit events.
#2: Dragon Quest Builders (420h, 10m)
Endless hours of fun to be had here if you seek it out. I recreated Clock Town and Traverse Town within it and that's where at least 2/3 of my playtime came from. It only could have possibly lost to...
#1: Dragon Quest Builders 2 (1358h, 37m!)
More than triple the number 2 spot!
Pokémon shield 1200 hours…shiny hunting, battling, and raids add up
Top played
Fortnite 2000+ hrs
Animal crossing new horizons 150+ hrs
Xenoblade chronicles 2 100+
Stardew valley 100+
Pokémon scarlet 100+
Persona 5 royal 90+
SMT 3 nocturne 90 hrs
I imagine that play time for three houses will go up when Derrick finally gets around to streaming it on his Twitch channel
My playtime according to my Switch is 930 hours. I’m waiting for Exophase to work again to see what it says my playtime is. XD
1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 98h 21m
2. Pokémon Sword: 75h 18m
3. Breath of the Wild: 36h 0m
4. Pokémon Let's Go Eevee: 32h 7m
5. Pokémon Legends: Arceus: 29h 34m
I'm not a huge Switch guy to be honest, but there's my top 5! Would love to see videos of your guys' hours on other platforms as well.
I played Pokemon Sword a lot too. Making competitive Pokemon in that game was great.
My most played games are:
1. Smash Ultimate
2. Xenoblade 2
3. Fire Emblem Three Houses
4: Xenoblade 3
5. Xenoblade Definite Edition
I think I like Xenoblade.
I still have 5 characters left to get them 100%.
Who else thinks from now on Felix should be he called by his full title - Our Ripped Friend Felix Sanchez 😅
Wish I didn’t lose my play time data on my OLeD
42:18 Oh that was me too! It's what let me to having over 70 hours in my first playthrough 😂
My top 5:
1. Animal Crossing New Horizons = 545 hours
2. Hades = 350 hours
3. Pokemon Scarlet = 330 hours
4. Tears of the Kingdom = 300 hours
5. Breath of the Wild = 180 hours
The only surprise is that I played THAT much more of Scarlet than TotK, but a lot of that is from playing with my best friend. Other than that, I knew AC was at the top bc I lived on that game during lockdown and I knew that I played MUCH more of TotK than BotW because I enjoyed the former substantially more.
My top 5:
5 - Pokémon Legends Arceus: 29h 31m
4 - The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 30h 43m
3 - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: 55h 15m
2 - Animal Crossing: New Horizons: 98h 55m
1 - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: 99h 33m
1. Breath of the Wild
2. Dragon Quest IX
3. Shin Megami Tensei V
4. Metroid Dread
5. Okami
My Most Played Switch Games:
1. BOTW 345 Hours
2. TOTK 200 Hours
3. Skyrim 150 Hours
4. Animal Crossing 125 Hours
5. Mario Maker 2 65 Hours
My most played game is totk and the second is botw, but the most played game on my switch is actually Stardew valley that my mom played
I played a lot of Animal Crossing at the start of the pandemic (like everyone else did) but I fell off after about a year I think? It just got to the point where I ran out of things to do. It just got really repetitive and chore-like.
Haha I do that with breath of the wild too, I just pop it open and run around just to explore, I do it in totk too but I did it longer in botw
Some of these may not be perfectly accurate, but my most played games are:
Mario Kart 8 - 112 hours, 31 minutes
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 - 203 hours, 7 minutes
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition - 287 hours, 46 minutes
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 - 400+ hours, played this game on multiple users and my profile's playtime count is definitely not accurate
Super Smash Bros Ultimate - 747 hours, 27 minutes
Most played for me is Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Mario Maker 2!
Great vid, would love an indie inspired edition
My most played are probably xenoblade 2 & 3, and Persona 5 Royal. Persona 5 Royal I was determined to not miss a single thing and ended up playing for 500 hours, probably some of it was idling while I was looking stuff up, but that is the most recorded. Unfortunately my Switch malfunctioned so I had to send it in to get fixed, and when I got it back my hours on my account reset, so I'm not sure what my true hours for BotW, Three Houses, Xenoblade 2, Mario Kart, or Smash Bros. are.
The original fire emblem warriors game had Camilla in it🥰 that’s all it took for me to sink a bunch of hours into it😉
My most played games for anyone interested 👻
Xenoblade chronicles 2 @ 800 hours ( like the trilogy but X2 is my absolute favorite)
Fire emblem warriors @250 hours
Trails of cold steal 3 @ 300 hours
Atelier Ryza 2 @ 400 hours
Harvestella @ 333 hours
Shinning Resonance @180 hours
My top 5 is as follows (excluding TH-cam, which is my #1 lol I watch a lot of it on my Switch):
1. BotW
2. Witcher 3
3. Xenoblade 2
4 Xenoblade DE
5. Xenoblade 3
My top 5 favourite
1) pokemon scarlet
2) super smash bros ultimate
3) Splatoon 3
4) Mario kart 8 deluxe
5) Dragon quest monsters the dark prince
Thanks for this information!
The proper Battle Mode was still needed even if Battle Mode isn't as fun. The battle mode they put in 8 was terrible.
Man, if only Exophobia had come out before this video. Much better than exoprimal
Xenoblade 1 DE, TOTK and Xenoblade 2 are my most played Switch games.
Mine is pretty insane..
5. Mario Odyssey- 373 hours
4. Fortnite- 561 hours
3. Splatoon 2- 751 hours
2. Smash Ultimate- 942 hours
1. Mario Maker 2- 1901 hours
i have no game exeeding 50 hours, just don't have the time anymore with kids, but my top 5 is FF X , FE three houses, FE engage, Pikmin 4 and then Pokemon sword
Idk about the actual hours but
#1 BotW- 420+ hours
#2 TotK- 400 hours
#3 Pokemon Legends Arceus- 250+ (not even done with it)
#4 Smash Ultimate- 110+ hours
#5 Mario Odyssey- 100+ hours
Bro Felix is absolutely yolked
My top 5 played games are SMM2, AC: New Horizons, Persona 5 Royal, Ace Attorney Trilogy and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony
And then there’s me over here with like 1250 hours in FE3H and like 400 in 3 Hopes lmao
