What's really a riot about this little modification, is taking your engine off and opening it up to remove all the little bits of governor strewn about the crankcase. Trust me, it happens. I just had to do it to mine, and I wasn't even full throttle when it happened. If you're going to hot rod your engine, pull the motor off, open it up, remove the governor, and replace the rod and flywheel with billet parts. There's tons of info on this on mini bike chat boards and the youtubes.

depends on if u r riding it.. or your buddies are.. if u are make it rev its balls off, friends make it a tad bit short... also listen for the valves.. if they float let off respectfully.. as the motor revs u need to let off no matter what so make it a bit short.. but dont let em beat ya this vid was made fer a reason lol
Another great thing you can do is if you another 22 sprocket laying around replace the 10 tooth sprocket behind the other 22 gives it mor kick but it's not good for off roading

the reason why you dont want to bypass it this way is because without the spring tension pushing on the governer gear theres nothing to hold it in place and it will eventually come apart inside the engine. always remove the gear and mech

where'd you get your primary cover? My daughter's is flimsy plastic, the stock one. it gets soft when the bike gets hot, we lose it in the field all the time. I was thinking about making one from sheet metal.
That is the stock plastic one, it was painted. Here is the metal one they make and sell. Than put the cover back on and it will be on tight where it cannot fall off, that is the instant free fix. The only real (Primary purpose) of that guard is to protect your leg. Many bike's and most older ones had the clutch exposed, although it is good for keeping mud and debris away, it still wont keep all mud out, because it doesn't cover good enough because its really just their for looks and too protect your leg from touching the chain (belt when swapped to a torque converter).
No, their is a spark arrestor on the stock muffler. Not unless you remove the spark arrestor and I don't think you can without cutting it off which you would not do anyway.
This is dangerous. The stock flywheel can explode or the connecting rod could break with the excess rpms. Either could do serious bodily harm to the rider! Seriously.
@bibbastard OHHHH fer sure im pushin 200 on a hevy day 195 most times so fer sure... my buddies weigh well over 200 and the bikes have been pullin them strongggg for awhile, and set the fishin line so when your at full throttle the line is tight to the restrictor lever youll figure out what u need to do when u modify it youll see... trust me BUY ONE they are the most funn you can ever havewith your clothes on!!!! lol peace bud!!!!
