    I know why it's not accurate. THIS HINT WILL MAKE IT SPOT ON. Do the following.
    When you first take off you need to let it do the automatic take off and once it gets to its about 15ft height hover point(this next part is key) you then need to fly it STRAIGHT up to about 30 more feet the slower the better.
    What this does is it allows the bottom mounted cameras the ability to get a perfect snapshot of the takeoff point.
    If you just take off and zoom away it does not give the MP2 enough time or information to be precise.
    Not sure why the original mavic software was so much better about this but I assume the MP2 will have an update that will fix this.
    Great video as usual man. You always get right to the point and explain things to people in easy terms. Good stuff man. Hope this technique helps some people enjoy the RTH a little more :)

      @@natserog I have owned multiple DJI products. Trial and error. But there are also tons of videos about this procedure as well.
      Sucks that the MP2 has to have it done manually when the MP1 does it itself but it'll get an update in firmware to fix it soon I'd assume

    Great video man. Great information. And dont worry about dragging on a video. The information is needed. Id much rather watch a 10 min well informed video than a 2 min video with 2 facts. If someone stopped watching cause you were giving too much info, then im sure they will lose a 700$ drone because of impatience.

    Foir precise landing you need to launch up to about 12 meters and hover til it gets a good photo of where it launched.

    • @darkodimitrijevic8496
      @darkodimitrijevic8496 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, that`s what DJI says also. After taking off dji mavic 2 must hover for about 10 sec so it will automatically scan and analyse all the area under the bottom camera for landing details. So it is the pilots errror, he did not read the manual, instead he were immediately out - flying his drone. But I cannot criticizes him, because I was the same :p Btw - Nice video, and Mr. Dylan has a good possibility very nice and easy to explain, he should be an drone flying instructor :) ...ater he read all the manuals :p

    6/8/2019 and still not as precise as the original Mavic Pro. I flew my M2P on the 8th for the first time (got it only days before) and set up the landing zone pad way away from any activity and put orange traffic cones in a rough circle around that. The first two places I tried kept popping up a magnetic field warning, even though I was on grass, not concrete. Perhaps there were underground wiring that I was unaware of? The MP didn't have any problems, but the M2P made me do a compass calibration dance before it became happier and wanted to fly. Strange.

    Dylan, I am a 63 year-old neophyte and am viewing your excellent videos over and over until I feel confident to take my 2 Pro on it's maiden voyage. Question: As the aircraft is returning to the home point, if it is coming down off the target, can you take control of the aircraft & position it over the target and bring it down manually? Would you have to press the RTH (on the Smart Controller) to cancel RTH and then operate the aircraft manually? Thank you and bless you for your awesome tutorials!
