I have In Every Mirror She's Black, but yet to have read it. I'm glad to know it's a series and will have to get the other one. I'm very intrigued with the On Us series and I will be adding it. I don't like series that have cliffhangers and most likely will not finish it especially if the second book hasn't been published.
I suggest you get Everything is not enough while reading the first one because the way the first one ends…you’re going to want to know what happens next IMMEDIATELY

The Porter brothers also had me in a chokehold. You have to read Clear Water if you haven’t. That’s the last book in the series 💓
Hi Imani Thank you! I definitely meant to address Clear Water in this video 🤦🏾♀️ I did start Clear Water but I put it down at maybe 15%. It has a much slower start than the others and the new POVs took me out of the story I was used to but I DO plan to go back to it so I can get to my guys. Which brother was your favorite? I’m rockin with Sav crazy self

Yassss, the On Us Series had me in a chokehold too! So much so I was desperately looking for the physical books unfortunately they are sold out. When I tell you Lake was that dude, Lake was that dude. I underestimated him which is good to point out his character development was the best.
Definitely going to pick up the other series recommendations. Thanks as always CCP.
Everytime I see someone with a hardcover of Hasan I SCREAM cause why that’s on your shelf and not mine???! I feel like you will enjoy The Art of Hood Love series then. They are a bit similar. The evolution of Lake was nice to see. Sav will always be my boo tho lol
I really enjoyed The Art of Hood of Love too, i actually did DM Antoinette bc I feel like something’s weren’t addressed, like who was Los first love? I can’t wait for Pierre’s book to be released, and i hope it’s a standalone. I actually just started On Us, since I really loved Lemon Pepper. Nina jumped off the porch with drama lol.
Ah yes you’re right! Him saying that opened a whole can of worms and we ain’t even get a NAME 😩 Did you read Front St Porter first? Lemon Pepper knocked me off my feet which is what made me read more of her catalog.

I loved loved loved Lemon Pepper, I will admit the title almost made me miss out though lol. But no, i started with On Us book 1 and im half way through, will it make a big difference?
@@Meems23 I feel like FSP is important because there’s some nuggets there that get revisited later. It sets the foundation for the whole series in my opinion. But I’m also someone that doesn’t want to miss out on anythingggg 😂
