- A few days ago Markus did the maiden flight of the Hangar 9 Bronco. To little air to the engines and they stopped. Deadstick landing in the corn field. The middle wing broke but is beeing fixed right now. And more cooling is added to the engines. Ps . Markus is a very skilled pilot and he works with airplanes daily. No need for insulting comments on the video😊
We can hear that one of the engines is struggling.
I was just on a short visit this day and did not have my camera so i had to use my phone. Sad quality but for the re-maiden i will be ready with my Gh5.
Plane: Hangar 9 Bronco
Engines: RcGf 30cc X2
Pilot: Markus
Camera: Samsung s10+
Beautiful bird. Looked awesome in the air. Sorry to see the engines died but Iam glad it will be fixed. Remaiden soon my friend. Say Hi to Markus for me. Big salute from Slovenia, Pilot Robert
Next flight will be awesome😊
Markus, I would not call that a crash. More like a superb piece of flying. You did not panic kept it straight rather than try and turn. Excellent airmanship. Well done.
Yeah...any landing is a controlled crash...my commercial pilot friend told me that!!
Nice save in the corn.
You should've showed the aftermath with damage report!... I how that there were not much damages! 👍🏾Thumbs-up from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
Shes up and flying in a couple of weeks
@@ArcticRc Awesome! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Well that was as shame but at least it is repairable. The sound of the twin engines really is great. I'll be ready to see the next flight.
Yeah. It still flew great though😊
It's a beautiful plane.
Glad you can fix it!
So is the owner.. 😊
I recomend you put temperature sensors on each engine cilinder. With radio telemetry and configuring alarms of temperature on your transmitter you could predict an excesive overheating.
Beautiful model and equally beautiful flying site!
I'm so glad it's fixable such a great looking plane
Beautiful model, I'm certain you'll get her sorted out and flying in no time. Great job on that landing.... job 1 is always... fly the plane. Well done, it could have been much worse.
Hopefully not too much damage 😳🍀…there are only two choices get it straight into the cornfield or try to land it with tight curve and risk a stall🤔…looks like the right decision to me👍 nice sound
Thank you Sir. Markus is amazing on these decisions. I would really freak out😳
Just received mine. Wow, that's a big plane.
This is awesome, how to manage rpm engine left and right ?
Grest breake in and som fine tuning.
Every time i see someone take off behind the model... 😅
Thats a preference my friend. I like to do that on every maiden until i have trimmed the plane
Sad to see an engine died. Hope to see it back in the air soon 👍
Regards from germany
I flew fantastic but the airwents from factory wasn't enough. This is just things that happends and we learn. New middle wing ordered. 😊
@@ArcticRc You need for sure build in some airflow ducts. Otherwise overheating would not surprise me
Ouch, hate to see that, the engines sounded bad before that, shouldn't have kept making low passes! Should have landed and fixed it. How bad was the damage?
Only the middle wing broke. New one is ordered. And engines are beeing tuned as we speak. 😊
Wow, lovely plane, at least it's repairable
Up and running in no time😊
@@ArcticRc yay!
As soon as the engines started running rough, it should have been landed, period. At least that's what I always do. Pay attention.
Good thing you decided to land when the engine was missing on that flyby...
Markus was the pilot not me. I would not be as cold and calm🤣
My question is why didn’t the rudder on the ground work??
The rudder was not connected. We fixed this before take off. The clip wasnt edited in this video🥰
I think he did a great job keeping it lined up with the corn rather than risk losing airspeed trying to turn it in line with the runway and risk a flip and boom damage....
Das ist doch beim MFG Kitzingen oder? Kenn den Platz bisher nur mit abgemähtem Maisfeld und alles kahl an den Bäumen. Gruß Timo
It is all about ensuring the outlet has 2 to 3 times more area than the inlet.
You did a great job mate maybe a twin sink might help at least you wont get the death spiral, great job though could have been a lot worse
😍😍
Sounded a little rich?
One was a bit to lean we guess. Got way to hot.
@@ArcticRc ok
Never pushed the choke off the second time
Plus if he knew the aircraft will see that the airplane can return to the airfield with no issue, as a matter fact you want the beans and not the corn to crash anyway.
Should have landed when one engine sounded sick. :(
*Let the Sunshine In...*
It’s because those pilots weren’t scale.
You can hear an engine failing……….. your spectators should be fired for not telling you to land.
We did🤪 He landed in the cornfield
AMEN TO THAT !!!!!!!!! WTF
Exactly, but the pilots should know better, and landed asap, with a beautiful aircraft.
@@maxun1 I understand what you all are saying but why do you need to call people you don't know bad names? These are my friends and i would never come to your channel and be rude to you. 😐
@@ArcticRc fixed.
We could hear the engine was struggling but we didn't tell him to land, please don't make fun of us...When you have more money than common sense.
Hi sir. Common sense is not to disturb a pilot while flying. He had a fellow pilot next to him that gave him info. He was going for a last turn to land when both engines quit. We all do misstakes. Its not allways the money card. The plane has many flight after this deadstick landing and the pilot is one of the better ones here in Norway. By the way.. im a healt and care taker at the hospital and i earn my living on hard work. Im not going to be rich. Not filming these videos eighter.

Wer mit so schlecht eingestellten Motoren fliegt, hat selber schuld.
not quite sinked.
Should have gone electric 🤷♂️
Great plane. You should look at the RC full metal Bronco from alumodels.com Awesome planes for those who want the very best
