Hello, How would one complete a Load Justification Form for a new build? I've just received my application back with deficiencies and am filing the forms DIY. I filled it out the best I could and so far the Load Justification seems so be my biggest hurdle. Thanks!

For example, y CEC-AC is 8.24kw. Using their formulae, that comes out to 14,238kw. Last 12 months, I used 10,497 kw. 150% of this is 12,071kw. Oooops! I had couple years before, Covid, where it was near 12kw, still wouldn't equal 14kw. So thanks. I downloaded some example justification excel sheets - I wonder what the ave kw would be for a year to charge a EV? Damn, why does this have to be so opague - other than a challenge to homeowner who isn't using an installer?

Looks like *ave EV use is 4kw/year. That would be more than enough to put me within the 150% range. I found a form to upload, which simply says you looked at past 12 months and predict higher usage. Then there is an example excel sheet SCE provides, and it lists "EV X" with 10kw/year! Not sure you can include the Excel, but I will just in case - turn it into a pdf and add to the signed justification sheet. Whew!, thanks again. See any reason NOT to say 2 EV's?

They didnt have my EnphaseiQ8plus listed . When i click on not listed equipment, it drops down and asks questions about Gross AC nameplate rating & Generator certification 😩 🤷🏻‍♂️

I know this is old but I have a NEM 2 application in flight where we want to remove the battery from the design. Would that affect the NEM 2.0 status at all?

No. Won’t impact I think. Just change and resubmit form with new details
