@@BromoVolk Physically it's not similar. it's a larger board. Also, it's more powerful. And, it uses a different machine language (X86 rather than ARM). X86 has more software and operating systems coded for it, than for ARM. The only thing way this board is similar, is in price, which is $35.

Works super good and that is going though WiFi too. Just wanted to let people know this #35 computer can be use as a server with Plex movies on it. I am using a N-video shield on a 4K TV to play it. I have not tested playing right on the atomic Pi yet. It's the OS that came with it still.

I funded this as a kickstarter back in December and received it February. Awesome little board. Just a few quick notes for anyone curious about it:
    * The power input isn't natively onboard. You can make a jumper to power it as ETA did, or just do what I did and buy the baby breakout board.
    * There are really no cases for it. There is a 3D print available but it's for the board and additional breakout board (not the baby board) together, not just the single board.
    * The BIOS likes to show a weird error that something is missing once you change the settings from stock. I want to say you can ignore it as it still boots with your settings.
    * It doesn't bring the antennas for wireless or bluetooth. They work but at a really short distance.
    * I'm using it headless with VNC and running it as a Plex server. It's perfect for it. Media is on a 4TB connected directly to router but AtomicPlex sees the share as SMB and gets it out perfectly. Love this little board.

Thanks so much for this review! It's a fantastic board for the price! I received mine from the Kickstarter a couple of months ago, and it's a really great bunch of guys that put it together AND they sent them out EARLY (very rare)! The great price is no scam or bait and switch: they made these main boards a while ago apparently for a project that was cancelled. So they have slightly modified them and made them a Kickstarter as a "maker" board/sbc for hobbyists. That's why they have all those great add-ons like the gyro and accelerometer etc, etc. If you get them from the main site, you can get the mezzanine board to add another USB and also to connect power more easily. But my main point here is....since they are remaindered from a project, i am sure that they will not be re-made again, especially at this great price, because their main costs were used by the original project. Let's face it....what other SBC's do you know that will run Windows 10 or emulate as fast as ETAPRIME shows here for $34? None! Sadly, though, i am pretty sure that when these are gone, they wont be seen again. That's why i have just ordered another from the main site. Even with shipping, nothing competes! And no, i dont work for them or anything......i am just an original buyer from Kickstarter and loved the way these guys did even better than they promised for us backers. Sorry this has gone on so long. I didn't intend to. I just wouldn't want them bad-mouthed as "bait and switch" guys.

Nice little board! I would like to see how it behaves with OMV and a couple of external drives with that single USB 3 and gigabit ethernet

So this could play n64, ps1 games no problem? Cause the raspberry pi 3 kinda struggles with those.

@@teknokilr6074 Thanks but they sell for way higher than they do at the site of DLI... and that still excludes shipping.
So I'll just wait till they start selling in Europe for a decent price. (cus $90 bucks for a single board, excluding import duties? no ty)

Pretty neat, especially for people building x86 applications, but I can already see the CPU and RAM being big limitations in the near future, especially since modern operating systems and programs are becoming more resource hungry as they become more complex. If you are using this for small projects like old emulation, kiosks and web browsing, it should be fine for the next couple of years.

The iGPU of the x5-z8350 is like a GeForce FX. You can play at lower resolutions all games up till 2004 at the highest settings. The fact you have 4 cores, you can actually end up playing Gears of War at lower resolutions at lower graphics settings.

I would love to see some applications outside of emulation. Seems like a great system for offloading streaming tasks, media center, etc.
