I love these videos! Hard working and simpler life. My great grandparents came to the US in the early 1900’s from Chernigov. My mom has watched a few of these and says she remembers her Baba cooking much the same way.

It is always a joy to see you Maria. Your life is beautiful. You live in such a pretty place, I love the sound of the water and seeing the green fields and beautiful scenery. You work hard, but it seems that you love everything you do. You always make you food look special, no matter how simple it may be. There is nothing like a paint job to freshen things up!! To be able to forage for food would be wonderful, where I live rainfall is scarce and we are in drought much of the time. (But I love where I live!)
