Zack you missed the most testosteronic deadlift of all time - Mikhail Shivlyakov’s RPE 20 deadlift, when he broke the world record in the masters division, I’m sure you’ll be able to find it somewhere…
The fact KK regularly did 900+ deaflifts WITHOUT A BELT is not mentionned enough. Also having Zahir and Kiryll in his corner is the ultimate avengers lineup: one of the all-time best deadlifters in history being supported by one of the best benchers and one of the best squatters in history is beautiful.

So we can all assume based on Larry’s PED use that his blood pressure may be elevated a bit more than the average person. Under huge amounts of strain his B/P could easily be in the 300s systolic when he’s lifting that kind of weight. Just for reference a normal blood pressure is around 120 and 140+ is considered a high blood pressure. Also he’s lean a hell and tends to get acne. So when that pressure rises it will take the path of least resistance, and that happened to be out the chest and all over the place.
‘A bit’? These guys are giving up decades of life. The drugs, food, lifting is all incredibly destructive to health. When blood starts randomly spraying out of you...that’s not a good thing😂
I'm a woman, natty, and weak by social media standards. I also have low-ish blood pressure. I regularly break blood vessels on my eyelids and neck when squatting and deadlifting. It makes me feel like kind of a badass but I also worry that people who don't lift will think it's from BDSM activities.
I met Pete under not the greatest circumstances (charity deadlift meet for a mutual friend who passed away, raising money for his family). Knowing all the old super hype angry lifting basement deadlift videos, my man was the nicest easy going dude. Shot the shit about our respective businesses for a few minutes. He's such an asset to the community.
If I remember right Larry explained that the bleeding was a combination of high blood pressure and pores that had recently been "picked" because they had pimples. Kinda gross but an existing open wound explains it.

I just found your channel last night (even though somehow I was already subscribed.... weird) but I love your videos man. Can't give you enough kudos!!
Since you asked about powerlifters doing well in both raw and equipped, Scot Mendelson is the only man in history to hold both the raw and the equipped bench records at the same time. He benched 700 raw and more than 1000 equipped.
Blaine Sumner was the same, he was dominating raw meets before switching to equipped and his numbers went down temporarily before he learned how to use the gear.
Man I though it was gonna be a video discussing studies where they showed the effects of deadlifts on testosterone, buuuut still sat through the whole video because watching these deadlifs raises testosterone.
On the topic of lifters who are great at geared and raw lifting: Agata Sitko is a polish lifter who's quickly rising the ranks as an up-and-comer. She had as close a battle as you can get against Jessica Buettner at classic worlds this year, coming in 2nd only because of bodyweight and setting a new open bench world record. The month before that, she competed equipped at the European championships and set a new junior world record bench press. And next month, she'll be competing at world games in gear, no doubt gonna do something huge there
For a powerlifter who did both geared and raw lifting, i think the most notable one was Matt Wenning. Multiply he hit a 1196/815/800 SBD, raw he's done 865/612/750.
