@@my1michelle I use rubber caps instead of plastic ones and the tab can fit under if you try hard enough. If not, taping it over the cap is fine. Using the tab to tape the silk also helps prevent rolling of the silk during drop spins and other work as it ensures that it will be straight and pulled tight.
I love this so much! My little brothers enjoy mimicking me when I spin for school so I will definitely be surprising them with some mini flags!!! Edit: very impressive little money hand toss at the end! (That’s what my school calls it)
Corner of the Barn I would go for a 6ft pole. If you’re in color guard you’d see that the pole is taller than you. I’d look up some information on the internet about it. Maybe some “cheat” marks too

the little white part that you off the silk helps you tape the silk to the pole, i think it looks much neater when you use it
Thank you! I didn't know that. Does it go over the cap? If I taped it to the pole that flag would be pretty low since it's such a short pole.

I remember long ago they use to make the flags with a taping pad underneath the silk to where the tape won't show...
So did you use the bolts inside the pole for added weight?
Most of the time I use Velcro instead of tape
This is so helpful it’s probably good also for beginners not knowing if they want to commit to the sport

im in color guard for high school and im about 5 foot 3 and im almost the shortest on the team and i use a 6 foot pole
