The catharsis of seeing Malty getting zapped for every lie was very stupid but cathartic; but being forced to be renamed Bitch is just as funny as it is satisfying.

Naofumi was too kind on them. This two really made his life and live of others a a living hell. Myne surely deserved to die like that. At least king has some sense of honor unlike her.
In the manga, it was way better.

@@akiranigata in novel the Queen literally asked Melty to get a child from Naofumi in order to start talking about peace with Shield Hero's church demi-human fanatic counries (and they are radicals).
As for bitch and trash she suggested to cut of their limbs and etc, but she needed them alive because killing them will turn out bad for the country's international politics.

He didn’t consider the fact that they could still scheme some dirty tricks. Should’ve atleast imprisoned them our have them enter a slave contract with him or his whole party. Also those shitty heroes deserve some punishment too. Although they never intend to hurt him, they still turned blind eyes and never helped him while he’s the one covering their asses.
The thing is that in the novel is very different, in the novel the Queen ask Naofumi what would be their best punishment and he said all mad, “Dead, they should die for everything they done!!!!” And the Queen accept that but the two nights before their execution, a spy of the Queen use magic to manipulate Naofumi making him dream about the execution so that he could’ve stopped it. The day of the execution the Queen ask him again one last time but he doesn’t change his mind until the last minute that he decides to change their names. But after all that Naofumi talks to the Queen and says that he knows he use her spies to manipulate him though magic and he gave her a warning that if she does something like he will abandon her country and will never help them again.

It is funny because in the books the Queen even offers Melty's hand in marriage to Naofumi so he doesn't go to Syltvelt. Of course he declines for two reasons; her age, and because the last thing he wants is Malty as his in-law.

The trial of trash and bitch such a satisfying episode
It would've been very satisfying to see her becoming Naofumi's slave since she wasn't executed. Maybe that way it would've prevented future problems, I think.
And yeah, the Queen is right... Both her husband and her eldest daughter put the nation at risk, almost let the church overthrow them, trampled on countless innocents (Naofumi and his party included), unknowingly almost started a war (cause of the nations getting very angry at them hogging all the heroes), stunted the growth of the heroes (although that's not as obvious), and nearly escalated the waves (cause they were definitely trying to kill Naofumi at some point and that would have made the waves much more difficult until the other 3 heroes died).
Those two are some of the biggest examples of "too dumb to live" all cause of their pettiness and selfishness.
the light novel explains why all this crimes are paid by death , knowing a little of the queen backstory and her life before beeing the supreme leader of the nation.

if they had killed naofumi, fitoria would have absolutely personally come and butcher the remaining 3 heroes and those two just so future 4 heroes wont get corrupted.

Every other new episode/season after this one should've been renamed Shield Hero: After story or something along those lines

But they honestly should have let "b**ch" die. She's an increasing problem. Or at the very least should have made her into Naofumi's slave.
It wasn't meant to happen (bitch dying I mean) since the queen would've begged for her life in exchange for theirs, if Naofumi refused he'd still be seen as a Devil anyway, although I agree with the idea of her being a slave to Naofumi, that would've been satisfying, that or death.
Honestly living without privilege and being called a bit** for the rest of her life is worst.

I can see why you say that, but Naofumi wasn't really well with that idea and still, was melty sister and father after all, the queen was really strong to keep her mind in place for the trial.
....I found easily the specific episodes I wanted to see.......just describing them at the search....., the betrayal > Naofumi vs Motto-nuko-su, and now the trial....

The king getting chain up was so satisfying and good plus just because he's king doesn't mean he has to authority because i think he married in the royal family and the queen is the real royal blood notice all the guards only listen to her in this episode the king never had any real power he's useless and pathetic of a king the queen however she's rocks cool i plus she also a warrior nice

For real though. It's just a shame that season 2 just couldn't quite compete.

Well, Season 2 was regular. It wasnt that boring nor spectacular. I think the season 2 is bad because season 1 was too good.
