I’ve had so many oof moment when I didn’t realize an egg hatched before the hatch animation and I spin a pokestop unwillingly getting a 5 km egg that I meant to save for a 12 km egg. I gave up going out of my way to get 12 km eggs, it’s not worth it.
I mainly always look the bag and sometimes I am like where did this Pokemon from and I realized this when I had an alolan grimer then after sometime the egg hatched

The issue with this strategy is that it's darn near impossible to manage the eggs to get 8-9 12k's. Once you finish an egg, you have to NOT spin any stops or open any gifts, AND have to find one of the bosses but REMEMBER, don't spin the stop (which goes against rocket stops because you can spin them before and after you beat them to get double spins/ the items that 'they have been stealing from the stops'). Finally, you can get a 12k. lets not forget to mention a lot of people are having a tough time maintaining pokeballs, so not spinning stops is doubley as punishing. Nothing against this guide, I think it's great and with how much stardust you can get I might try it myself, it's just Niantic made getting these really annoying.
if you let your pokemon storage fill up, you can open all of your gifts and spin as many stops as you want to without getting any eggs from gifts or stops. :-)
I also felt this way but once you have the 8-9 eggs you can also spin while you walk them. It is a drag but the dust payout can be worth it for some of us!
i really like how when he got the shiny drowzee, you could tell how excited he was. it was like a light in his eyes lit up, and it was so nostalgic to see as it reminded me that just because I'm an adult doesn't mean I cant get excited about Pokémon.

Charmander community day, I only shiny hunted for 1 hour and 35 minutes, and already had 6 shinys, plus the ones I already had. So I switched up my game plan! With eggs at 1/4 hatch... I had the gotcha on, star pieces on, and grinded out grunts, finding leaders. I had an hour dinner break, n went back at it until leaders left at 10pm. I MADE A MILLION stardust IN ONE DAY!!! So proud of myself! Also... huge ty to you for teaching me about my stack! Had a nice full one! Triple stardust n 1/4 hatch was SUPER beneficial for me!!!
In Canada, it's actually cheaper to buy 100 coins ($1) instead of the the larger bundle of coins 2500 ($28), 5200 ($55). It's only when your willing to buy 14,500 coins ($140) that you actually save a bit of money. Appears this way in other countries as well (i.e., Australia, South Africa). Just an FYI.

You've made me change my attitude on the 12K "red" eggs, which wore out their welcome rather quickly with their lousy new Pokemon hatch percentage rates and loss of decreased walking hatch distance after their debut event...and also made me rethink on how to finesse them, because up until this point, I thought they were virtually the same payout as the 10Ks. With the arriving cold (and rainy) season, it will be difficult to casually bop out of the house and walk eggs out in relative comfort. Will have to suss out if it's worth bundling up for just a hatch. But it's still good to know how to grind these reds in the best way even if we don't exactly keen on their contents. Gonna start thinking stardust-forward from now on.

I play everyday, so addicted, and a life distraction so im not in my own head Ive only been playing a year now (Dec 7th was my year anniversary of playing) and I got to level 37 that day, two days ago i got to level 38. I'm so glad you did this video. I watched another that mentioned nothing about all the stardust gained (which I ALWAYS need) and if it were based solely on the egg pool and hatches I'd probably never hatch another and miss all that stardust!!

Thanks for the vid. I will now be saving my 12 eggs until I reach 9 of them. Don’t think I will be using super incubators on 10km eggs anymore. Really wish they would remove the terrible Pokémon out of the 10 & 12 eggs or at least make the irrelevant Pokémon rare hatches.

@@nekosaints So many brands but Id recommend that you dont overpay for one (you will regret it) and then look a bit around and get the one that is smallest (you can get em pretty small and still cheap) make sure it has at least 10k mAh. You will love it.
Remember if you get the adventure sync eggs they’ll take up 1-2 spots in your egg inventory. So either have full Pokémon storage so you don’t get those eggs if you plan to buy all the radars, OR if you’re going the free route, might as well get those 2 extra hatches in while you’re going about the grunt grinding, since they’ll most likely hatch in time and not get in the way of your 9 12km egg collecting :)

How do you line up your Adventure Sync to hit on Monday at 9a? Does that mean you skip a Monday so your streak starts on Tue and ends on Mon? Or do you need to skip Sunday so it starts on Mon and ends on Sun (with the stardust being rewarded the following day (Mon))? Sorry if that's confusing. Thanks.
In South Africa, the more coins that are in the bundle you buy, the more you pay per coin. So if I buy a 100 coin bundle it costs R6.99 or 7c per coin. If I buy 2500 coins it's 12c per coin and if I buy 14500 coins it's 10c per coin.
I just did a reset on my daily streaks to lineup on monday and boy howdy did those 24 hours make me itch to play XD big ups on the shiny shadow, got 3 myself

Great video! I could feel your excitement for that shiny shadow drowzee and even with bad stats, it is still really good. I got lucky enough to nab myself a shiny shadow growlithe that was 3 star from arlo the other week, and it is now a shiny shadow arcanince prepared to eat great league after i can TM frustration away.
You’re not wrong, i have things that I think about appear or be mentioned all the time. Whenever I’m about to get a crazy pokemon in the game I can feel some weird energy too. Could just be coincidence but who knows.
TBF, I am a device hunter so I typically go for the grunts then beat the leaders. Except the most recent refund box & $1 community day research (which includes a Rocket Radar), I do not spend a single dollar on Rocket Radars. I really don’t care too much about shadow shinies (still got them all for this batch) but I really go gung-ho for the grunts & leaders when 1/4 hatch distance is active. Those stardust from 12km eggs are sure tasty, along with a star piece activated. Hatched a Deino before, but where’s my Sandile?

When I got my 7day streak on Tuesday, I only don't catch any pokemon on Monday. So, the streak was started on the Tuesday rather than Wednesday. So I'm happy
I have a xs Lucario shundo maxed out that I start all my team leader/ Big G teams off with. He does real work, I promise you. If nothing else, he is a shield breaker and delays attacks. He even does well against things he isn't very effective against.
It's so hard and time-consuming to go without spinning stops to get these eggs. Again, I'm saving the free rocket radars for 3 strange eggs. Should've completed a fourth one before claiming them, though.
So.... just have a TON of pokeballs stored up, blow through 9 incubators (or maybe walk 45k to clear out your bag with the free 'bator...) to clear your egg bag, then hunt down 9 bosses and beat them all. All while you don't spin stops or open gifts since you'll get eggs from that then use 9 more incubators (or walk 108k - 67 miles for us Americans) to hatch those 9 eggs. I have zero doubt that you LOVE this game Billy, your joy at that SS drowsy was not faked, but until we can delete eggs from our bag 12k eggs are a money grab by niantic. Big surprise of course.
If you got the bonus box you just got a few easy free rocket radars too. That was a nice treat. I am able to get the pokemon in these eggs just not the stats I'd like.
Billy please be mindful in a lot of countries buying coins doesn’t equal cheaper for buying more for us here in Australia it’s actually worse then buy the 100 coins for 99cents
Congrats on the drowsee Billy. I have one problem though. I don’t how you made your calculations on the pokecoins but if you buy only from the 100 pokecoins and buy 14500 coins you save almost 50 percent of your money. That’s why I always use the 100 pokecoins. You save a lot of money
Here in Canada Pokecoins cost $6.99 for 500 coins package. But .99 for 100. the best value is the .99 for 100 or the biggest package which is 14,000 coins for $139.99.
Amazing! But i don't understand how you got 2km to walk from a 12km egg after incubating in a super incubator. For me it sets to 8km. Is it an event or something you get at a higher level?
The prob is it's a pain to make sure you don't spin any stops or open any gifts and get eggs you have to hatch off before picking up a12k. It's the best when hatch one and the game don't tell you so you spin and pick up an egg even tho the hatch sequence not even played yet that the BEST!
Thanks for the tips on the 12km eggs. I’ll start grinding the dust. I’m needing millions of dust just to max out all the Pokémon I’ve picked to use for future Megas when they release (especially primal Groudon that I have a weather boost hundo)
@@angelolegusa6635 basically to get the most stardust as possible grind on battle every grunt and rocket leader you see to get 9 12km eggs to earn more stardust. Cuz as an example in the clip he hatched a larvitar and got 9600 dust. But I recommend watching it all when you can cuz he explains it all at end of clip.
Stardust is more available for the hardcore players who know where to find it. Casuals are always impressed. I started spending money on this game this year and SLAYED the rare candy. Having done that, I'm still unsure if its worth it. I love this method proposed, but time becomes an issue for a hardcore player like myself with a family. A better idea for me, which is a happy in between, is saving my star pieces and similar items for events where dust is boosted. For double dust, I can do a community day where thats featured for 6 hours with multiple star pieces, and quick catch a few hundred thousand dust. Oh and don't play PvP. That is a stardust black hole. Lol.
I'd like to add that you should make sure you have notifications on. It will tell you when eggs are about to hatch. The and on to this is if you do a set of five battles you can get a nice chunk of stardust with the star piece. Then catch your eggs hatching then do another set of battle league while still on the star piece.

Great video! I could feel your excitement for that shiny shadow drowzee and even with bad stats, it is still really good. I got lucky enough to nab myself a shiny shadow growlithe that was 3 star from arlo the other week, and it is now a shiny shadow arcanince prepared to eat great league after i can TM frustration away.
You’re not wrong, i have things that I think about appear or be mentioned all the time. Whenever I’m about to get a crazy pokemon in the game I can feel some weird energy too. Could just be coincidence but who knows.

TBF, I am a device hunter so I typically go for the grunts then beat the leaders. Except the most recent refund box & $1 community day research (which includes a Rocket Radar), I do not spend a single dollar on Rocket Radars.
I really don’t care too much about shadow shinies (still got them all for this batch) but I really go gung-ho for the grunts & leaders when 1/4 hatch distance is active. Those stardust from 12km eggs are sure tasty, along with a star piece activated.

When I got my 7day streak on Tuesday, I only don't catch any pokemon on Monday. So, the streak was started on the Tuesday rather than Wednesday. So I'm happy
its really enjoyable to see him meet with shiny drowzee :D

I have a xs Lucario shundo maxed out that I start all my team leader/ Big G teams off with. He does real work, I promise you. If nothing else, he is a shield breaker and delays attacks. He even does well against things he isn't very effective against.
I’ve done 1,010 shadow battles, and gotten exactly 1 shiny shadow pokemon, an ekans from a Jesse/James battle
It's so hard and time-consuming to go without spinning stops to get these eggs. Again, I'm saving the free rocket radars for 3 strange eggs. Should've completed a fourth one before claiming them, though.
So.... just have a TON of pokeballs stored up, blow through 9 incubators (or maybe walk 45k to clear out your bag with the free 'bator...) to clear your egg bag, then hunt down 9 bosses and beat them all. All while you don't spin stops or open gifts since you'll get eggs from that then use 9 more incubators (or walk 108k - 67 miles for us Americans) to hatch those 9 eggs.
I have zero doubt that you LOVE this game Billy, your joy at that SS drowsy was not faked, but until we can delete eggs from our bag 12k eggs are a money grab by niantic. Big surprise of course.
If you got the bonus box you just got a few easy free rocket radars too. That was a nice treat. I am able to get the pokemon in these eggs just not the stats I'd like.
Billy please be mindful in a lot of countries buying coins doesn’t equal cheaper for buying more for us here in Australia it’s actually worse then buy the 100 coins for 99cents

Congrats on the drowsee Billy. I have one problem though. I don’t how you made your calculations on the pokecoins but if you buy only from the 100 pokecoins and buy 14500 coins you save almost 50 percent of your money. That’s why I always use the 100 pokecoins. You save a lot of money

the best value is the .99 for 100 or the biggest package which is 14,000 coins for $139.99.

The prob is it's a pain to make sure you don't spin any stops or open any gifts and get eggs you have to hatch off before picking up a12k. It's the best when hatch one and the game don't tell you so you spin and pick up an egg even tho the hatch sequence not even played yet that the BEST!
Thanks for the tips on the 12km eggs. I’ll start grinding the dust. I’m needing millions of dust just to max out all the Pokémon I’ve picked to use for future Megas when they release (especially primal Groudon that I have a weather boost hundo)

@@angelolegusa6635 basically to get the most stardust as possible grind on battle every grunt and rocket leader you see to get 9 12km eggs to earn more stardust. Cuz as an example in the clip he hatched a larvitar and got 9600 dust. But I recommend watching it all when you can cuz he explains it all at end of clip.
U dont have to not play for 4 days to reset ur streak so they count at the same time. Just skip a single day and it resets both.

Stardust is more available for the hardcore players who know where to find it. Casuals are always impressed. I started spending money on this game this year and SLAYED the rare candy. Having done that, I'm still unsure if its worth it. I love this method proposed, but time becomes an issue for a hardcore player like myself with a family. A better idea for me, which is a happy in between, is saving my star pieces and similar items for events where dust is boosted. For double dust, I can do a community day where thats featured for 6 hours with multiple star pieces, and quick catch a few hundred thousand dust. Oh and don't play PvP. That is a stardust black hole. Lol.
Just have to not catch any Pokémon on a Monday to sync up your daily catch. Great vid keep it up 👍

This is awesome the bad part is not spending money on incubators and not having enough resources to heal pokemon after battles

I'd like to add that you should make sure you have notifications on. It will tell you when eggs are about to hatch. The and on to this is if you do a set of five battles you can get a nice chunk of stardust with the star piece. Then catch your eggs hatching then do another set of battle league while still on the star piece.
