There was no fanning about there. Right bobby dazzlers. That cod would of been a very scrumptious bit of grub. And that big haddock would of been awesome in fillets. 😋 finger licking good. Love your videos. Puts a real smile to the dial.

Phill_itofish Fishing Thanks Phil, Yeah it’s a lovely drift over there isn’t it. Lots of different depths. You’ve had a few gooduns yourself out of there I reckon 👍
@@onthedropfishing My dad said the same from when we had a boat out of Seaton Sluice. There's a few 'shelves' that run north - south behind the island making it good fishing....
Plenty of action there mate, great when you're catching regular like that. I'm surprised you didn't have mackerel having a go at the lure. I fish the black minnow as well. great lure but they can prove expensive on the wrecks. I watched one of your vids the other night where you lost a few on hard ground. Great vids, really enjoy them when I can't get out.
Thanks very much William, yeah I love a fish black minnow. My all time faves are pink and the blue glow version in 25g. I’m glad you’re enjoying the vids, I have a lot of fun making them
Thanks Graham, there is a slipway at Seaton Sluice just to the north of St Mary’s, I don’t know where you get the key from but at least you know where to start now. Maybe a bit of Googling, hope that helps. Tight lines 👍

You say you answer all comments 😂😂 well I'll probably do you're head in, in quite new to kayak fishing, I've had a yak for 3 years but with work and the weather I've only been out 1/2 a dozen times, I've been pretty successful off skinny however the question is, you seem to be dropping quite light lures, I'm old school boat fishing, and drop jiggers 1/2 a pound or more 😂 can you tell me the weight of lures you use, obviously I know tide and drift play a part but if I fear too much drift I switch to a pound jigger 😂😂
Hi Alan mate, I use light gear all round so 8-12lb Rod, 13lb braid, 3000 size fixed spool and lures are normally 25g fiiish black minnows etc. The key is light braid. 13lb braid has a diameter of 0.10 millimetre and cuts through the tide no problem. I use about 3 foot of 20lb fluorocarbon as a rubbing leader. 🎣
Hello mate, recently went to saint Mary’s island with my brother on the kayak, the bloke from the lighthouse started taking pictures of us. Are you alowed to Kayak around there thanks in advance
Hi mate as long as you stay a good distance from the shore and therefore the seal colony you shouldn’t have any problems with anyone. The wildlife wardens get a bit hot under the collar if they think people are getting too close (I’m not saying you were by the way) 🎣👍
ChangingTheGameUK Hi mate, I keep the odd one or two now and again. I pretty much exclusively fish 25g Fiiish Black Minnows on 13lb braid. The braid makes all the difference in my opinion.
Thanks mate, it was a canny day. I'm using an H1N recorder with a Lavalier (lapel) mic clipped on to my drysuit. About £70 from Gax. Lavalier mic was a tenner on Amazon :)
On The Drop Fishing Yeah I’ve got 13lb braid on mine aswell. I fished to the north of St Mary’s a few weeks ago and got quite a few small pollock and kelp cod but don’t think I was out far enough
