Loved the video. Went to elementary & junior high there. Actually your video ends right by Longfellow Elementary. Thanks for the drive down memory lane.
Aahhh haaa! Some one else caught it too! LOL! Yes, the video ended right at the moment of excitement! LOL! Man.. I was finally gonna see my school and it ended.. Well I pray to visit this year in Fall(prettiest time of year in the North especially Maine), and take video and photos and just walk and meet people and make music(Longfellow is now an adult ARTS school, how about THAT?!). I am old though as I went to school there in 82-84 so no one will remember me or my article in the newspaper when I painted a Christmas back drop in 83. But, I will take all the fun in. When did you go to school in the elementary school?
@@pianokeyjoe I was there in 84 before switching to Jordan Acres (it’s closed now) the following year for 5th grade. Had Mrs. Cornish for most things and Mrs. Anderson for math. We had that “buy a board” drive to build that new play ground while I was there.
@@travish3130 Confirmed! You WERE a Longfellow..err..fellow! Like me lol! I had mrs Anderson for 3rd Grade and I do not remember Cornish? I think she was maybe the math teacher then for me? Oh what fun times! I am gonna try to go back in fall and see my childhood stomping grounds one more time before all.. ya know.. breaks loose on planet earth.. My life journey as it were.. God bless! Nice to meet you!
I lived there 57 years ago on school street (1:34) and I remember a drugstore on that corner where my brother and I brought soda bottles back for money. I was 5 & 6 years old there and we left when I was 7. I’m 64 and live in Utah now.
Nice tour of town. But is it really "summer 2021?" I don't think so. Not enough leaves on the trees. Looks more like early to mid-Spring. If it were summer, the trees would be FULL of leaves. That looks more like late March or maybe early April, with trees just starting to fill out.
@@zcharg0 yes it is! It is one of the most wealthiest states in the union and it looks more like Canada than USA(comparing to PA or FLA here). Great to visit, but you have to be wealthy already, before you go to live in Maine.. my dad was NOT kidding!
Spent my summers there for the past 15 years, love it!!!
Very nice tour...I plan on spending a few days there as part of an Amtrak see America vacation, (starting out in Eugene Oregon)
That is a long route to take! Enjoy man!

Must have been some good times!
Beautiful state 💝 . I wish you can make videos for us in all 50 states .
You had a very positive comment. Go there and see if you change your mind. Moohahahaha hahahahahah!
If you spit your gum out the window in Brunswick Maine, the Barney Fifes there will throw spikes down to get you. You think I'm kidding.

I believe it was mid May, but yeah I agree the leaves were just growing out.
🙋♀️ how much is renting ? Bc I wanna emigrate from the Netherlands to Maine
You can get a 2 bedroom 1 bath for about $1400-$2200 a month, but you have to pay utilities and stuff so more like $1700-$2500 a month.
@@randomname766 that is expensive !

Totally stunted growth in town for 150 years. Am I wrong?
Candle shop?
I did not spot ONE brick home this entire video. Are all the homes made of wood there??
No. Many exist, quite old.
