This is probably the best Arcane edit I've ever seen. You seem to fundamentally understand the show, its message, themes, and ideas better than most. It seems that those who criticize season 2 the harshest want the show to be something it is not. At its core, this show is not about two cities, politics, or even sisters. It's a story about humanity, balance, the good within evil and the evil within good. All the plotlines are there to service this theme in a way that best suits the characters on their journeys.
yea, but what made s1 so special was in fact how real the characters felt, s2 failed on this front because of characters like isha and whoever tf cait's friend was (i can't remember the name).
Also just glossing over the entire piltover/zuan conflict ending instantly without much explanation on why / the conflict not instantly restarting right as soon as the victor situation was fixed just felt so superficial and fake, something i never felt with s1
I personally believe it should've been stretched to 3 seasons, and given more time to thoroughly expand on all its plotlines
ofc the show def is the best show i've watched (probably ever)
the real reason critics are hating on s2 is because of the INSANE precedent s1 set, as s1 was quite literally perfection on every front
(also i find it very funny that the theme of the show is "beauty in imperfection" and then s2 is imperfect lol)
@ I agree that the story needs more time to breathe and to flesh out certain plot points and character decisions. Especially with Caitlyn. I think Maddie (Cait’s “friend” you mentioned) was kinda a hollow character, but her purpose is more symbolic. A similar thing goes for Isha, though I think her development is far more interesting and believable. But her importance is what she means to Jinx, grounding the gun-toting maniac in a way that she hasn’t been in years. Without Isha, Jinx has no arc this season.
@@corbanbausch9049 yea i completely agree with the thing about isha, madie was useless for the story + was a really horrible character (like why did she betray cait? why would she want to side with ambessa? how did she get so close to cait in the first place?)
isha however, i loved alot of things about the character, however, i really wish isha was around for longer and not just added as a plot device for jinx's character progression, as soon as i saw her i kinda guessed she would die soon after, idk i like it but also hate it

This is by far one of the best edits I've seen for Arcane, hell for anything. Just the way you were able to put so many powerful quotes and their messages together in 3 and a half minutes of beauty is just astonishing. I've always wanted to shed some tears while watching Arcane, recently I haven't been able to for some reason. I want to and I see every reason why I should because of how amazing the story is, but I just get caught in the beauty of the animation and how well written it is that i literally forget to cry. But this, this is probably to closest I've gotten. Thank you for this.

jinx and silco had alot in common they both got betrayed by the people they knew closest and cared for the most, hence why i think jinx related and cared so much for silco but the betrayal that turned them into "villains" only happened because a villain is only made when they get hurt so bad that they dont see any good anymore
I found this edit 3 days ago. I have been watching it multiple times and showing it to everyone I know since the. The timing between the scenes, music, quotes, everything... it's just spectacular. Everything feels incredibly well thought out, with so many layers in each scene. The colors, expressions, and speed (fighting/talking scenes) all feel perfect. The mood of the scenes changes in the different parts of the music, making the feelings of prosperity, hope, despair and regret all vibrant within each cut. This truly is a masterpiece. It inspires me.

I have watched videos on Arcane this whole week, finally someone seems to see the magic. There is so much writing on the wall, so much wisdom, all this beauty. I was looking at the holes of the plot and characters and felt like through those holes I could see whole universes hidden.
