A Metalhead at heart. Love my guitar shredding solos heavy heavy heavy! Mosh pits! 🤘🏼 But Rockabilly is a root to all Rock music. And Psychobilly is fucking awesome! It’s just rebellious and fun and fucking wreck less haha. Metal heads and greasers are alike
I called him a wanker and got knocked out on my feet for three songs : woke up on my feet slamming. Im the fella next to voon . Don’t know ask demon teds
For your info this was taken/aired on ch4 on a 1983 programme called Whatever You Want. Each week a band did 4 songs live in the studio with an audience, other bands I remember where Anti Nowhere League and The Mission
All ya guys don´t know the background of this song! Back then there was a thugs group called "Wrecking Crew" and in consultation with the Meteors and all the Psychobillis who hatet´em, they all stood up against the Wrecking Crew and knocked´em out! Fantastic in common action! That´s what i heared about this song, don´t know if it´s true but it´s unique i guess ;)
Ha, the Wrecking Crew WERE the fans of The Meteors and 'Wrecking' was the dancing/fighting combo that we all used to do at the front if you were brave enough. Me and my friend were very much in the minority of girls who loved to Wreck and wore our bruises the day after gigs as badges of honour :-)
Yep the Wrecking Crew were the fans. I saw the meteors twice at the Tin Can Club in Digbeth Birmingham. Probably around 84/85? They were brilliant. Brought 3 coachloads of the wrecking crew.. as soon as the band started playing their shirts came off and the wrecking started. Crazy shit. No one else dared venture on the dancefloor!
Year of my birth! Love it!
