I like to imagine that they don't sit down to write Ya Burnt, one of the writers just starts going on a rant, and another is like "ooh that's good, write that down!"
I'm just super happy that I know what the heck a wedge salad is now. Damn glad I never ordered one. I probably would have asked the server about the level of laziness in the establishment.

This is like a classic Carson bit where the jokes don't even have to be all that funny but the whole schtick just puts a smile in your face from start to finish.
There are over 22 seasons of Law & Order SVU, I call bullshit on that one. I know this because my hubs has been binging it non stop for the past 4 months and is still in the first decade.

The dry January part made me cry. As part of our Covid lockdown regulations, the sale of alcohol has been banned in South Africa since just before New Years Eve. It was a quiet New Year here.
In good ol' America alcohol sales are considered "essential". In my town the city decided to give the bars and liquor stores part of their liquor license cost back. Here's the great part: the liquor stores were open the whole time and business was never better.

Love this and love every time you post! Thank you. One thing: neck gators... I breath into my bandana or mask; if I have virus or or germs of any kind it will be contained into my apparatus, drop into my clothes then onto the floor and reduce the chance of anyone contracting it. It also helps me not continuously breath in and out whatever virus or germs I may have. Washing and changing said apparatus helps not only others, but myself as well. Just saying. Thank you for being kind, honest and making me laugh nearly nightly!
Equal Time Time: the summer of 1980 I saw Joni Mitchell with a serious jazz combo performing her "Mingus" album at the Hollywood Bowl for the Playboy Jazz Fest! Fantastic and the audience did not want to let her go! Excellent, Memorable; ya can't burn a good memory!

I discovered wool neck gaiters a few years back and they're a total game-changer, they work so much better than a scarf at keeping snow out of your collar and keeping you warm in general. Now that it's cold again I've been using them as a mask on the street and switching to an N95 for inside stores.
