The PS1 version does have graphical and sound improvements, but it's still interesting to see it running on older, less powerful consoles like the SNES and Sega Mega CD. I grew up with the PS1 version and loved the soundtrack! I still listen it to this day from time to time.

Very curious... you can see what PS1 was trying to do with its more dynamic colour effects but it seems a bit jarring with the similar resolution sprites. The sound and music of the PS1 doesn't seem to sound distinctive either. I'd be intrigued to see how a modern remake of this would be done

The PS1 version was really unfortunate. The colors, the textures, the sprites, the timing.. Just everything was off. SNES was near perfect. Genesis, meh.
