It feels right to honor Helen in the place we got to know her, Zion Mennonite Church. Her dedication to family and friends was evident in birthday cards, thoughtful questions, constant prayer and delicious pies. She was also something of a social media wiz - we will miss her spirited presence on and offline.

Helen Bowman was my Sunday School teacher, then as I became an adult, she was my friend. She is missed.
As the dad of kids who have sung together often, and as a musician who has sung in groups small and large, I know that there is a special bond between people who share their voices in harmony. And I have to believe that the brother/sister relationship you three have is richly enhanced by this musical link you have. God bless you!
