I wish people would quit thinking FreeCAD is not a professional tool! It most certainly is a professional tool. There will always be people making fun of the work car you drive because of the rust or dent here and there but it gets you to work and that's what counts.
Using FreeCAD helped mw save my fathers company a couple of time in the past 2 years, because noone was willing to accept a hand drawn techical drawing for getting thing water/laser cut. They asked us what programm we are using cause they didn't have problems with any of the file we sent, whith my head sunk in shame we told them it was FreeCAD. Freeware has one benefit over paid programms, people want it to work. It has some quirks here and there but if you have a problem someone is spending their sunday hapily trying to fix it while other programms have to wait for their programmer to come in on monday.
