Oh Tish you will love Mexico. Oaxaca is such an amazing place for food. I've been having an extended break from insta and although I miss connecting with so many great people, it has done wonders for how I percieve myself and I actually love my body. I was falling victim to self comparison rather than just inspiration. Take care beauty xx
Tish! so glad to be watching your recap. Caribbean side of Costa Rica is magical. The red fruit is called Mamon Chino, however, many of the Tico(a)s we met just call it Mamon. So yummy right? Seeing you in Cahuita is making me miss it so bad.
Hey, that's so exciting. I stayed in Cahuita and it was a nice laid back town. It's about a 20min drive from Puerto Viejo. There is a natural park in Cahuita with a beautiful beach tucked inside of it. For food, I would recommend hitting up Irie Vibes Bar & Restaurant within the same town. They have great food and music. The bar manager Ronnie is really nice! The main road also has other great restaurants to try, another one that I liked was called Soda Benediction. I always feel it is good to walk around and experience things for yourself while connecting/supporting the local businesses. I spent some time in Puerto Viejo. Definitely recommend eating at Ghetto Girl Caribbean Restaurant, the food is out of this world, you will want to go back for more. The woman who owns it is so accommodating and nice. Hit up the beaches there too! I only got to go to Playa Negra...a beach with black sand...beautiful! Enjoy + Pura Vida!

Can you give more on where you stay on your trips...it looks like you guys stay among the people instead of the overblown 5 star hotels, which is how I would love to travel.
So we stayed at a few places. Monte sol cabina hostel. Very basic and was ok for a couple nights. Then Magalan hotel - beautiful place. Then with a friend of my friends who is a local! You can defo travel there on a budget and be comfortable!! Check out Airbnb too.
