People keep asking how I’m feeling about it and tbh, I think a lot of us saw it coming. When the pregnancy leaked, it just kind of sealed the deal for me. I felt like VLV was foreshadowing the end, just because it was a clear representation of all his influences and inspirations. I didn’t connect with it as much as past albums, but I got why he made it and still appreciate it. I think there was a lot of unfair hate for it because his vocals didn’t always sound “perfect” but I personally think it’s cool he recorded the vocals live to a tape recorder .. like not many artists can do that and still have it sound good! It was also amazing live. I’m glad I got to be here for the beginning and the end. But I do feel he’ll be back .. someday

The funny or sad thing is he’s already shown change and growth. What people were hating him for was old, old stuff, but of course they don’t show context or dates when they share this stuff.

yeah I can’t see Brendon entirely retiring. He’s an full blooded entertainer, shaped and molded for the spotlight. He may come out with new music (def not under the Panic! label) or he could turn to acting
Honestly I’m just glad and happy cause the band has been over since the others left but I remember hearing about all the bad stuff about them and then I dropped them. I most like their old music and I still jam to their old songs but to me and why I’m ok with them being gone cause I felt like it was a huge ego thing and just made all about him. I miss how it was everyone like Ryan,John and Spencer. I still love their old stuff and after death of a bachelor that’s when I was like “ok then yea they aren’t the same anymore.” But I can see why it hits close for you Johnnie since I got into them in middle school and since I was a baby when they came out I didn’t really have a reaction out of it.

Let’s be real here, Panic has just been Urie’s stage name since the early 2010’s and he’s just announcing his solo career 8 years too late.
I’m so sad, I grew up listening to panic, they are one of the first bands that got me into alternative music, didn’t like the newer albums but still they changed my life and I lower so many albums by them, I understand why he broke it up, I wish Brendon Urie and his family the best hope he continues to grow and move forward, and possibly do solo music some day if he wants to.

Its sad to see panic end and watch people rip brendon apart for his past, even dating back to over a decade, and the main reason for doing so is cuz they think its funny to bully one person. I hope brendon lives a good life with his baby, he deserves a happy ending
I always wanted to see them in concert, I haven't loved some of their new stuff either but some of it is still good. They'll definitely be remembered for a long time and go down is history
Panic was also my gateway to the emo scene and forever will be a big part of my heart I loved his newer music but I understand not everyone connected to it and that’s what makes music beautiful and connects people some like and some dont🖤However I’m really happy for him and excited for his new adventures and I wish him the best and I’m grateful to have seen in for pray for the wicked tour and viva las vengeance he went out with a bang🖤Loved this video Johnnie🖤
I didn’t grow up with panic, I started liking them March of this year and knowing I might never be able to go to one of their concerts (I’m praying they do a reunion for the anniversary of AFYCSO) makes me cry. They are like home to me and are my fav band of all time
I'm gonna miss Panic and Brendon so much and its really sad to see him go! I'm pissed at all the hate he's getting on social media like it's really messed up and pissing me off bc they act like Brendon did absolutely nothing during the era where the band really was a band. But anyways I hope he lives a good rest of his life and hope to see a come back or even a reunion with other members in later years.

Thank you Johnnie I was at work when I saw it on insta. I was sad but I understand. I was supposed to go to their concert but they cancelled it because of COVID. I think that's why I was feeling that way cause I felt robbed, but I still hope I'll be able to see them in person one day.
Panic! At The Disco is the reason why I found My Digital Escape and why I became a part of a community of people that loved and supported me for wearing dark clothes, makeup, and listening to music that I truly love. It’s truly so sad to see him go, despite the hate and controversy. I’m just very disappointed at the fact that I won’t be able to see him perform one more time, just because of the nostalgia. He didn’t come by my city this tour when he usually would, I’m just hoping that he’ll still update us here and there so that the band’s legacy as a whole never dies. Wasn’t a big fan of the new stuff either, but it’d be hilarious if they got back together, even if it was for money LMAO.

The news is really upsetting to me, I saw them live for the first time in September so I wasn’t expecting that to also me my last time as well. Panic means a lot to me and I’m hoping one day maybe he’ll start some kind of solo project but until then I hope he does well and grows more as a person after becoming a father
panic at the disco got me into rock music and really helped me discover my love for music. i've been a musician since kindergarten, but never did i ever think of it as a career choice before them. they inspired me to pick up guitar, eventually leading me to bass and drums. they honestly changed my life. i'll never forget the first time i pressed play on a fever you can't sweat out and had my mind BLOWN by how amazing music could be. it's bittersweet that it's over. i honestly never saw it coming. i'm so sad about it, but i wish nothing but happiness for brendon, sarah, and their kid. all good things must come to an end i guess... ❤️❤️❤️
Tbh i was like really surprised that brendon is pregnant, its honestly so sad panic is over :( they where the soundtrack of my childhood man, im forever thanful for all the great memories i have from this band.

I'm sad and happy to see my favorite band go they meant so much to me and taught me a lot of things of things like to sing he taught me to love people for who they are. And he actually inspired me to keep going and he actually gave me hope for myself panic means so much to me but I am happy for them

Panic! was the first band I ever loved. I was 11 when i first heard I write sins and I was OBSESSED until i was about 16. I’m not a huge fan of Brendon now but I 100% appreciate how the band has lead me to where I am now. I ended up dropping Panic! when I was 16ish mainly because I became more of a metalhead (the allegations against Brendon also pushed my decision) and I got over my pretentious music phase and realized that the new music just wasn’t as great as i thought it was. I wish Brendon good luck with his child and hopes he grows as a person.
I think the saddest part is how it ended. The memes were good at first, but now I feel weird about this whole situation. It’s a sad ending overall.

panic! have been my favourite band pretty much my whole life, they saved me when I was at my lowest point, they helped me when I was dealing with my agoraphobia (anxiety disorder). Growing up I always felt like a piece of shit and worthless but having panic and their music really helped cause they made me feel like I was worth it, I was lucky enough to see them on DOAB tour, I am going to see them for the last time in march even tho VIVA isn't my fave album I'm definitely going to make that moment last a lifetime.

To be honest I only know one song of there's off the top of my head. But I think ur handling it pretty well dude, it sucks that there done but remember like they said, ( it's much better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.)

Since then it really did feel just like brendon Uri and his backups and I wondered why he kept the title panic at the disco if he was a solo artist

To be honest I realize that a huge majority of fans hate him now, but I sincerely wish him the best. I know this is probably something that does make him happy as well as Sarah. I am bummed though that the band is ending on such a sad note. It’s been a crazy couple of years. But I wish him and Sarah every happiness with their baby.

honestly all of the things pilling up abt him made me barely touch the vlv but this band really was a big deal for me. i saw the breakup from the mile away, but yeah, looking back at panic is bittersweet. still listen to their older stuff occasionally.
panic was the band that broke my concert virginity. i went to their show with my mom when i was 14. it was one of the best days of my life. they were the band that got me into all the alternative bands as well. i had no idea they had split and now i have to break the news to my mom ☹️

I’m glad I was able to see them during the DOAB tour cycle before they dropped off and while Brendon’s voice was still sounding really good. But i think Panic should’ve ended when Dallon left. When there’s only one band member left it’s just not a band anymore.
