You might be the first reactor I've seen have as much of a deep appreciation for "Good for him" as I do. Thank you for that! I love that they gave Moloch's an actual personality.
As for reviews, do whatever feels best for you. If you need time to pull your thoughts together, maybe recap/review the previous episode at the start of every new reaction? Just an idea. Either way, I love your vids!

The "Grr, argh" at the end indicates it's a Mutant Enemy productions show - there aren't a lot of those out there: Buffy and the spinoff, Firefly, Dollhouse, Agents of SHIELD, and The Nevers.... (also, the web series Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog and the film Cabin in the Woods)
I think you've finally solved why I love this episode, because objectively it's not great, but the vibes are immaculate. And while I respect Willow's choices, I can think of worse fates then being the love slave of an all powerful robot demon. He's got jokes and literally all of the money in the world, I would simply develop a chrome fetish and get over any moral hangups about murder.

This episode always ranks very low on the favourite fan episodes which is rather unfair. It was really way ahead of its time regarding the potential dangers of online dating and social media. Willow is obviously very green, innocent and vulnerable as up to this point she has no romantic experiences. Great foreshadowing here again in this episode ( will not mention here ) as could be construed as spoilers. As has been said S1 is quite rough, but great perception here of how the future is now with the internet basically controlling everyone's lives.
*_Very important_* : On the next episode (Ep8), the last scene continues during the end credits. Don't stop watching during the credits.

Yeah, burning the book would almost certainly release the demon.
I would recommend starting a list of actors from Buffy who appear in Supernatural. Ash is not the only one. I can think of at least four others off the top of my head, spread out across multiple seasons. Also, yeah, Ms. Calendar is hot. Giles is hot. They would be hot together.

Jenny Calendar might be the best character of the early seasons.
Reactors handle episode summaries differently. Some don't say anything at all, some spend 30 seconds at the end, and some have recaps after the episode that are longer than the episode reaction itself. To be honest, I won't sit through the full recap of someone talking for 30 minutes but I definitely appreciate just hearing simple thoughts from the reactor on the episode and the impression they walked away with. And the more personalized the better. I've seen the shows a thousand times, read books about them, talked about them online. The chance that any reactor on their first watch is going to have some new insight are slim. BUT hearing what THEY thought about the episode, what they liked and disliked, how they feel afterwards...that's good and interesting content.
And a minute or two after the reaction to just say, "I liked this episode and I really liked X and Y" or "I really didn't like this one and I hated how A and B happened" are engaging and help bring people back for future episodes. And are also just an easy way to pump up your watch hours, few extra minutes on each video when you have 200 someodd videos to come in this universe adds up!

I'm not sure there's any danger as shown. Current likes to flow through the path of least resistance, which would be down to the earth. Also, pure water is an insulator, it needs impurities in it in order to be conductive. Still, better safe than sorry around fallen live wires.

Yes!!! Moloch is definitely a vibe! This episode has one of my favorite Willow moments: using a fire extinguisher to repeatedly hit a demon trapped in a metal body. That takes courage!
And yes! Please do a top 5!!! Although I have a feeling it'll have to become a top 10 once you're into season two. We'll see if it grows from there (maybe a top 50 by the final season).
As far as including your thoughts, two possibilities: a separate video or simply include it at the beginning of the following video. Personally, I like the latter. Perhaps put it to a vote?

This ep always gets a raw deal from fans. I mean, it's not the best ever, but it's not objectively awful. And given the way it looks at the dangers of the internet, you could say it foreshadows the real world, not just the rest of the series.
Also, it's fun that it's Willow who gets seduced by the demon in the internet, because back when it aired, when social media wasn't a thing, but message boards were, Alyson Hannigan was the one core cast member who used to hang out in the Buffy forums.

some people hate this episode, maybe its just my age, I was 15 when this first aired and I don't think its possible to hate any episode of BTVS
this episode was made at the height of when internet was becoming fashionable but MANY people were ignorant to how dangerous it was and people could abuse it...this entire episode is kind of a satirical message about that. but i like that.
I agree about looks...to a degree they matter but it's not the end of the world. i tend to like girls with dark hair but my current GF is a blonde...but i love her because of her personality...not her hair. she gets me, she understands me...and she's really supportive.

This is not fandom's favourite episode. It hasn't aged well. But the "Good for him" still makes me giggle 25 years onwards. So, you know, it's not all bad.
