Hi guys. I live about 40 miles from Pigeon Forge and the Smokies. Yes Fallon, when you all ate breakfast at the Apple Farm Restaurant those were apple orchards you saw. I am glad you all had a good time. I love the caramel apples at those candy stores.

How *cool* is that hat doctor! Are those around a whole lot? That reminds me. We have just 1 or 2 cobblers left in my little town (30,000 inhabitants). It's a dwindling profession. We used to have our pick of them. But these days it's cheaper (no longer full leather) to buy new shoes than to mend your old ones.
Great memories Falon !! Hope all are well and safe. We have another "smoke wave" in our area again for a few days. It is smoke from the fires in Canada. Skies are dark gray, have dark particles of ash covering the cars, and the smell is like wood burning so people like me with bad lungs have to wear a good mask outside. It will be gone in a few days in time for 4th of Julie!
