Absolutely love this. I love ASP but my god they need to work on this. They all shim the same regardless of the security pawl config. Flick off the double lock with anything and shim with PAPER even.
@penfold7800 - ASP use a plastic Double lock bar to reduce the weight, and as such eliminate the kinetic attack. (Except for the Sentry models). The downside of this is that the double lock bar is super light and can be easily picked via the keyway - even with a shim. It was an exceptionally bold marketing claim, that made me nearly spit out my coffee when I watched it 🤣
ASP are amazing and very high quality. I am very happy to own several of them and have another in transit to me. BUT this claim is wacky. Every security config of ASP handcuffs can be defeated in the same way. Flick off the double lock with anything, even a paperclip and then shim them. You can even shim them with paper if you know how to do it. I did a video using the backing from a sticker. I do love ASP..... but they have room for improvement.
@Buddy-nt6rd - Thanks buddy 👍 The sad thing is they could solve this with a simple adjustment on the replacement mechanism a small indent on tooth one of the pawl will snag the shim.....
😂😂😂 hahaha how did you do that impossible act of shimming you are a wizard!

@CoxysPicks oh ok now this makes alot more sense now! Godly tools will definitely step your game up 💥

Nicely done. You seem to have one or two ASP there🤣

@@CoxysPicks 🤣. Think I'd have done the same if I had that many
@Deadlocks86 - 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cant beat a good montage 😊. They must have had a masterlock consultant for the security rating 😂😂
@@Nicks-Picks - definitely 🤣 I should be a sure thing for a job there 🤣🤣🤣
Awesomely brutal video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And just how many ASP handcuffs do you have!
@BumpyBonesLocksport - The scary bit, is that I do have more on the rack 🤣
Basically he's got that many he can't count them 😂
@roysammons2445 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Maybe they meant when the doublelock is engaged. Is it possible to disengage a double lock by hitting the side of a cuff against something?

I cant believe i just watched 2 1/2 minutes of you failing to shime every handcuff! They really are all but impossible to shim. 😮😂
@@TheLockDudeAbides - I know - but sometimes you have to share your failures with the world 🤣🤣
Please let us know how thick of a shim you use?
@@Ducati-pq4er - I love my shims to be 0.3mm thick. Seems to work great across most manufacturers.
@@CoxysPicks Maybe you can try the challenge of four-tooth SENTRY CUFFS. I look forward to your answer.

I expect that the results will be the same though.

@Ducati-pq4er - so I take it that's not an option?
My ASPs are the easiest to shim of the half-dozen pairs of cuffs I own...
@@ronk9830 - I know - how could ASP not notice? Crazy, and then make a promotional video stating they are impossible to shim 🤔
@@CoxysPicks Nobody bloody tests anything any more. Software, gadgets, nothing.
