Really wish the Mopar V8 dinosaurs could see through their prejudices. These Mopars were the bollocks in the 80's just like the Mopar muscle in the 60's and 70's.

Nice memories. In '89 I was 26 and driving an '86 GLH Turbo. Mine didn't have the GTC's intercooler.

Hoo wee that's a lot of boost! I wonder if the turbo is stock or upgraded. Sounds amazing, either way!
My red 89 Turbo Premium will be getting the royal treatment soon. 2.5L rebuilt/A555 trans/GT3582 turbo/3 BAR MAP/upgraded fuel system/FWD performance Stage 5 computer. Should make 320hp/350ft.lbs of torque to the wheels @ 18 psi. These turbo dodges will hurt some feelings, especially on a roll.

I had a 1987 Lebaron Turbo and had that thing going 118 mph on I-480 in Cleveland back in the 90’s. If I floored it at 18 mph it would simultaneously initiate the turbo and shift into 2nd gear. Was enough to throw you back into the seat.

I’ve got a 88 vert turbo. Same color interior. Wish it were a 5 speed
