What no screenshot just of the bin? Lol also it's pretty common to have carpet in a living area for comfort but floorboards in the bedroom, especially if anyone in the house has dust allergies.
We have hardwood in every bedroom and both living rooms, and marble in every bathroom, the kitchen, and dining room. We just left our loft and stairs as carpet. :P
We use to have carpet all over my house, but we ripped that up long ago. Now only two of the rooms upstairs have carpets, and the basement. The living room, dining room, hallways, and parents room has hardwood and rugs.

I think I've been watching too many videos since I dreamt that I sent James/you a house I built and you did a TH-cam video assessing it and changing things. it was a castle with multiple levels and was pretty cool except sims deleted the edits I made to the downstairs so it was still a kitch kitchen in pink and orange and old fashioned everything and you were like 'ew, I'll look at that another time' and signed off. I saw it on TH-cam and cried because you're such a great builder and I was so honoured

Can you make a 15K starter house with a backyard? Like things for fun and skill building in the base game? I have yet to find a nice starter house that is affordable and still has a functioning backyard (pool, monkey bars, garden, etc.)

Yesterday I finally bought the Sims 4! I downloaded this house from the gallery, thinking it was from a different video. I then decided to bulldoze it and just make my own house cause I wanted to try my own hand at it. Well, when I did that and finished my house and uploaded it to the gallery, it said that my house was originally by you! I guess when I placed the house, no matter what I do it says the lot is by you, lol.

Could you do a movie/TV show set build? The sets could be built on only one wall (the way the cameras are facing), but you could do a 1950s kitchen, cozy living room, cafe (or other typical meet up place), etc. They could all be inside a big factory-type building and you could make trailers outside for the stars. I think it'd look awesome! :)

OKAY so I was just playing sims and I was like. Hmm I don't feel like building a house I'll just go download something that James a built. And since this was cute and base game I downloaded it. And now after I stopped playing. He uploads the build. crazy
I always wonder why people insist on having a double bed in such small rooms, it confuses me, your bed takes up half of the room? And if you don't have a in-wall wardrobe (most aussies don't, I've found out) the wardrobe takes the rest so the rooms become incredibly tinyyyy and it's like c'mon. save space and get a single if you're the only person sleeping in that bed. Personally, I like having a very minimalist room with nothing in the center of the room. It's good and it gives me a feel of so much space! Also another thing I've noticed about your average Australian (sorry if i seem as if i'm whinging about them) is that they have carpet everywhereeeeee. Like in the bedrooms, lounge, dining, study. Just everywhere. And these are full floor carpets, not like small carpets you can move. (do they have a name?) I think that having carpets in a living space such as dining, lounge and bedroom is totally uncalled for. If you're like me, you eat in the lounge, dining (obvs) and sometimes in the bedroom right? Carpet is just like, no? Never eat food on carpeted floors, ever. I have now a dislike to carpets in homes probably because lots of my Australian friends when i come over, they always seem to never clean their carpet. (its even worse if they have pets) It always looks kinda dirty and I find it kinda disgusting. A simple vacuum is never enough for a carpet ahaha. My room has floorboards and the lounge has tiles with carpet under the coffee table, the only rooms in my house that have carpet are the study and the library. Instead of a house with limited money you should make one with a minimum. For example, make a house worth at least 1mil.
