Loved your video! I absolutely agree with you on the part about working on your issues before moving abroad.
I initially wanted to do a working holiday in Korea before starting university, which I didn’t end up doing due to lack of a clear plan. I’ve since realized that I at that point in time just saw going to Korea as a sort of escape from my life, as I had no clear vision of what I wanted in life.
Instead of doing that working holiday in 2019, I started university and will now be going to Korea to study abroad for all of 2021 for the 4th and 5th semester of my degree.
The decision to go now was definitely the better choice as I now don’t see going to Korea as an escape but rather as an opportunity for immersing myself in a culture different from my own and to learn and develop new intercultural and interpersonal skills from that experience.
With all that said, my flight to Korea is in a week and I’m excited 🤗

I love everything you just wrote! Safe trip. Korea has its challenges, but if you have the right mindset, which you do, you will have a great time here~

Thank you for this! I didn't know you have this kind of video. Its like you have read my mind. I had watched your vlog about yonsei officetel. I want to study there for about a year and im preparing myself bcoz studying language there doesn't allow a part time job so yeah i really need to prepare tons of money.

hello missklei, how does it feel studying remotely in korea? how do you find friends when you just recently move to korea? is it worth it?

Hello there. 1) It is fine, I don't mind. I am a very disciplined person so I am handling things pretty well. Sogang had warned us that classes could be online because of Covid so I knew what I was getting myself into. However, in person classes are way better than online class for sure! 2) That's a good question. It's been 3 months so I don't know the answer to that yet LOL. I became friends with my classmates so we hang out often. I attended few meetups and it was fun as well. I went to a networking event and met an awesome girl. I don't think there is a formula. You just have to go out and meet people :) 3)For me, it is worth it. I was well prepared so I did not want to postpone my move. Despite the pandemic, I still live a pretty normal life.
