    Great video! A good video! It is very important for any person to find something to strive for and fight for no matter what the circumstances. Once you set the right goal for yourself, making decisions will be easy and fun. What used to seem like an excruciating chore will turn into an enjoyable activity. Go where your labour will be needed! Go where there is money and where your work will be decently paid! Sooner or later you will have to co-operate with people of different nationalities and cultures. To make your business successful, you should learn a foreign language. I would like to recommend to you Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips on learning foreign language". This book will help you to structure and organise your individual language learning process, will give you the opportunity to independently determine the methodology of language learning, which will become interesting and unburdensome. In this amazing book everyone will find a lot of useful information: how to learn foreign languages, how to memorise information, how to deal with culture shock, what to pay attention to when travelling to another country. I am convinced that the book "Polyglot Notes" should be in the bag of every business person, school and college student, and tourist. The most important thing is that the book gives a good motivation. Don't be afraid to do something to realise your dreams! If people realised that fears have no connection with reality, everyone would live a much better life. Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video. Your videos motivate me and give me new ideas!

    Ive always wonder, South Korea has the money, why dont they create a new capital in the center or east of the country where there is less people. Brazil and the US both created "capital" cities, and Egypt is making another one of their own. This has worked very well, especially for the United States. Something to think about for sure.

    Hi, Leila! Thank you for your video! I came here looking for advice on repeating the levels in Sogang, so it was really useful. I'm currently in KLEC level 3 and this is my first level here. It's been really hard to keep up with the class but now I see a lot of progress :) however, it's impossible not to compare myself with my classmates that started studying here from level 1 or 2. One of my teachers suggested that I should do level 3 again, since it contains the most important grammar points to advance to the higher levels, but since I can only study here for 2 semesters (2 levels) I still dont know of its worth it, or if I should go to level 4 and learn new things even though I know I will struggle 😭

    • @Missklei
      @Missklei 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmm… Levels 1 & 2 are usually easy; Level 3 is when things start getting more demanding. So, feeling a sense of struggle at that level is quite normal. You mentioned that things are improving, so you are on the right path. Repeating the level or moving to the next depends on many factors. Ask yourself these questions. 1. Have I studied enough to pass the exam and the oral test at the end of the trimester? Because at the end of the day, the results will dictate your fate. If you have studied enough to pass, there is no reason why you should repeat the level. If you fail both tests, then that’s your sign to redo it again 😊 2. What is more important to you: Focusing on learning as much as you can and pushing forward, or staying safe and consolidating your basics? 3. For your 2nd trimester, do you want to be at level 4, study hard, be diligent, and do your best to succeed (meaning at least 4 hours of daily self-study)? Or do you want to take it easy and chill your last 3 months in Korea (you’ll be repeating level 3, so the intensity and demand will be less)? Are you here to improve your Korean, or are you in Korea to have a good time and use Sogang as an excuse to make it happen? Once you contemplate those questions, you will find the right answer for you. Something I learned the hard way but would like you to remember is that comparison is the thief of joy. Some people will be more predisposed to be better at Korean than others (because of early exposure or similar languages spoken, having a boyfriend/girlfriend, etc.). Only compare yourself to the old version of yourself. Have you progressed compared to three months ago? If so, then you are on the right track. Learning a language is supposed to be fun. Let’s not let frustration take the joy away. Good luck!

    • @Missklei
      @Missklei 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good observation! Company dinners aren't part of my company's culture; that's why I didn't mention it. The only times it happened last year were at our annual company outing (we went on a hike and then had dinner) and after our end-of-the-year yearly company party. In both instances, people left earlier than the boss, and no one was forced to drink. It really depends on the company's culture. Besides the CEO and the 2nd in command, everyone is in their mid-20s and mid-30s, so I guess that helps with eradicating toxicity LOL

    Very informative talk well-done! I do love watching LOVE IS Blind, I believe that’s my favorite show. But the season 6 is a real mess. People in charge of this show have neglected every important detail Clay and the other toxic person have taken advantage of this gap quite nicely! I feel sorry for AD because her mom pretend to give her all the values she needs to overact to things that she might be exposed to on a relationship but she failed in this part. You can even see the way she gets all agitated meeting Clay like she will meet Jesus Christ in paradise when Clay in return did not even bring flowers for her. OMG 😱 so you guys (foreigners) wanna replace the Korean population and inherit their lands and property like Americans did to native Americans and are excited deep down at Korea's low birth rate. Thank you for teaching us to make more babies. I will definitely want my ancestral land to be inherited by bunch of foreigners who have no connection to the land and the culture

    Comparing South Korea to America or some backward African Countries is not a good way to improve your channels popularity.

      My joy in doing TH-cam comes from sharing my opinions and getting reactions out of them (positive or negative). You watched, and you reacted. So, it's all that matters. Popularity is irrelevant.

    I liked your video, I can't wait for Korea to make it easier for foreigners to settle there. Hopefully foreigners will bring a change of mindset and maybe a new growth in birth rates. But I'm wondering, what made you love Korea so much you decided to move there permanently? I did see one your videos about your trip in Busan. But I was curious. And I'm really interested about topics on how Koreans view mental health / going to therapy these days. Thanks for the video 😊

      I don't have a particular reason. It was a feeling, a knowing that Seoul had to be home after I visited it twice (2015 and 2016)
