Hi Katharine, I've only just come across your tutorials. Excellent instructions. Can't wait to try this, Only just watched a couple. Love the way you zoom at the petals during the process so you can see how the colours merge and interact. Thanks very much.
I love this tutorial. Thank you so much for the great tips and calming demonstration. More flowers, please!
Stunning! I love how you tape off the side for checking the colors. I usually do it on the backside of a failed painting, but this is a great was to reference, like you said. New sub!
Thank you, you’re the best art tutor I ever had
This is the first of your videos I've seen, but it won't be the last! Great job. You show enough technique so I can learn, but it doesn't scare me off because you make it look easy. (I know it isn't) Thank you. ; }
Glad I can help, you just have to give it a go! I will be putting some more flower tutorials up soon as this pansy is so popular!

I had a go not easy using my phone because when I pause screen goes black. Will have to practice. Thank you for this.
If you tap on the side of the screen after you pause the video, it brightens up again
@@Decopainterandtea Thank you. Xx
Wow. What are your future video Ideas? Oh, and Happy repeat day! :3
Thanks! future videos are top secret! ;)
i really want to try this but despite downloading the NCH Zip thingy i can't work out how to open the photograph. I can't even the see the outline on my monitor, so tricky to get started, can you explain how i can get the photo downloaded?
to download the pansy photo:
make sure you are on a PC desktop
go to www.skorkart.co.uk/art-classes
click the button that says pansy
it will auto download to your computer
go to your downloads folder
see the downloaded folder called pansy photo and right click it
hover on 7-Zip, then click the option 'extract files...'
a box will open for you to choose where you want the photo to save ( it will automatically do it to your downloads folder if you dont choose elsewhere)
press ok
the photo should be in your chosen folder and ready for you to use!
Hope this helps!
@@skorkart thank you :). i think i had no unzipping programme, got it now, thanks for much for quick replies x
Botanist here: pansies have five petals, not four.
Artist here: one fell off so this is called artistic licence... Thanks for watching my video 😊
