I followed the video step by step, going out to the garage each time. Mine took a little while longer as I realized later when installing the glass it had to be inside the plastic rails inside the door. Loosened a few bolts, readjusted the glass. I could have used a third hand holding the glass while I bolted the regulator but finally lined it up and boom I was up and running.
channels like yours always leave me in awe. excellent resource for very specific issues, which would be extremely annoying or straight up impossible to figure out on my own. Excellent general mechanical tips too, with clear explanations for why and how, such as putting all the regulator bolts in before tightening any of them.
Just a heads up…it is possible to remove the tracks and motor on the metal panel.. Halfway down the door there are 2, 2inch vinyl patches. These line up with the window bolts. Lower the window, if you can to these holes. The window can be easily removed then. You can then remove the entire black plate with the tracks and the motor intact with a little jostling. Have the window supports midway up the track when you reinstall. Hope this helps! Just finished my 2004 murano. Also, even for the lock actuator it needs the metal panel removed. Kinda sucks since I’m used that thick paper behind the interior door panel…
yes...I just did that....I recommend taping the window in place before you start the job....if you do that....then you will not need to adhust the window brackets holding the window.....you will have to unscrew the regulator from the mount...3 screws...good luck....also not shown in this video my murano 2007 has another screw under the door handle trim...pry off the upper trim to find the screw....

Any idea where I can get just the door glass channel clips for the 2006?
