    Was it easy for you to switch to commission only?

      I had to use a lot of my savings in the first 4 months in order to make it.

    I just filed my first claim today! After hundreds of people said "no" I was starting to lose hope but I just kept pushing and it finally happened. Thank you Adam, I've been watching your videos religiously up until my first claim. ❤

      Awesome brother, my area must be incredible or something because I’m at 7 contingencies in my first 12 days

    GREAT video Adam! Managing finances is such a crucial part of just living.
    Adding a couple of notes:
    - If you're 1099, make sure you're playing your taxes Quarterly to avoid an IRS penalty. Have a trusted CPA help you set this up. It can save you thousands!
    - SAVE at least 25% of your income for Taxes, 10% for your business Revenue
    - When you receive your checks, don't spend it all right away. Stock pile as much as you can in a high yield checking account and then "pay yourself" a salary based on your own living expectations.
    Please add in anything I missed. You Rock Adam!

    I really needed this! I'm in my second year of real estate and after a good first year, it's not going great this year. I've had more contracts fall apart than close and it HURTS to get to the end of a deal after working weeks or months and not make any money. It's really impacting my mental health and I'm working on shifting my mindset.

    Thank you so much Adam, your book and content have really been my compass while being "out at sea" with no experience. I've been working on my sales pitch everyday and slowly getting better. I've sold a few roofs but my closing rate isn't where it needs to be, there's always room for improvement. Thank you for all that you do.

    I knocked for 3 months with no luck and finally over the past month I signed 238k and I’m now at 350k for the year hoping to end at a million in my first year selling 💪🏼

    I’ll tell you why this can hurt you… an insurance claim will take 3 months to go through. (You getting paid). But you will be knocking 200 doors per day. These companies know you will quit long before you get paid. They don’t want to share the commissions with you. That’s why they hire anyone with a pulse. It’s a numbers game… for
    Them. And the casino always wins.

    A question that comes up a bit. I hire on as 1099 contractor. We have 2-4 sales meetings for the week. Does that change with the crackdown on being W-2 instead of 1099.

    • @TheRoofStrategist
      @TheRoofStrategist  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hey Joe, so far as I understand it, there's no legal way to hire as 1099 any longer since the updated FLSA Law went into effect March 11, 2024.
