Nice setup! I'm working on installing the same auxbeam in my GX, in the same spot where the ashtray was. Wish you showed how you routed the wire under the dash, struggling to find a clean way of doing it.
Thank you! That ashtray location works great and I don't smoke, so it was wasted space anyway. For the wiring under the dash, I tucked it down behind the plastic trim and out near the gas pedal, then pull it up above and zip tied all the slack out. Hope this helps!

Did you mount the auxbeam straight to the GX ashtray space? Or did you use the previous connection the satellite radio used? Is there a way to put the auxbeam in the same spot as yours or wil we need other mounting brackets than what is provided?
what year is your gx im wondering if mine is similar and if i can also use that heated seat fuse with out running into trouble with a relay in the way for the add a fuse
I have an 05 GX. Yes, you should still be able to use that heated seat fuse, but the add a fuse is a good way to ensure you aren't risking overloading the circuit.
I installed my Voswitch in the same spot, modified the ball mount and removed the ashtray face, the whole thing still slides out so the ashtray is kind of a hidden cubby.
That’s a good question. I’m not sure how their control circuits are designed, so I’m hesitant to say yes. I’ll reach out to see if they can provide an answer on that.

Great question! I ended up screwing into the plastic in the ashtray space. So no extra bracket was made.

Hey Drew, that sounds like a great solution you came up with. I like that the cubby is still functional.
So you don’t need a relay for each light you add to it?
Great question! No need to add a relay for each light if the pair of lights draws less current than the fuse on that circuit.

What's your tint %? Does it match the rear windows?
I’m not 100% what tiny I ended up going with. I went to the people I always use for tinting and we matched up the front against the rear.
