You could always spoof these details but it‘s hard to spoof every single information that Valve can track. They just don‘t track every single information, because they must tell you in the ToS and this could be a reason for players not playing the game because of privacy. But nobody reads the ToS anyways so they probably already do that

Every other online game is plagued by cheaters. I'm tired of people citing valorant as a game with no/few cheaters. Nobody can verify that. There are no replays in Valorant. Riot doesn't speak about cheaters. For all we know, there are plenty of cheaters in Valorant. Name any shooter, there is a massive amount of cheaters in that game. There are plenty of games with kernel level anticheat like Valorant that have tons of hackers. People act like kernel level anticheat makes it impossible. No, not at all. I think people just can't watch replays of their games to see who is walling or toggling.
„Alts“ could be accounts from the family on the same pc or network. So banning them would be very bad publicity, even, if it would drop the amount of cheaters. It‘s way too risky. Imagine you‘re doing a lan party (same network) on a VAC dedicated server and one of your friends is cheating. There are a lot of these cases that make it practically nearly impossible
they do care a little tho and we won't get kernel level anticheat, wich is a good thing cause giving lot of power to your program isn't good solution imo
i have 3K hrs in this game + above avg inventory price (+2K usd) i dont even playing cs anymore. i just cant. its not about cheaters or smth else. cs died 2 years ago and killed my dreams, joy, friends, and my +5 years. who cares ik. but i belive most of old players feel that way.
I'm in the same situation, but this game didn't kill any of my dreams or joy. In fact, since I stopped wasting my time with this buggy, content lacking, cheater infested pos game, my life improved drastically, and I don't miss any of those obnoxious, infantile morons I used to encounter in every game. I miss the old 1.6 times and the first 5 years of csgo. My inventory was around $80k last time I checked (probably half by now) but I don't care about it. I make that money in a month.

The reason: I played from my acc from different IPs, which is predictable, because I played from different computer clubs several times. I have an alt account but not for weekly drops and especially not for cheating. I have a handful of friends that are fairly new to the game and I’m ranked 17k premier on my main and GVM+ on pretty much all maps on comp. They would probably quit the game if they got into the matches at my level. I get to fuck off and try crazy shit while my friends are learning the game. I mean yeah technically it is smurfing but I’m not looking to ruin the game by pub stomping everyone in these lobbies. I go do brain dead plays with a scout or deagle lol. I’d be pissed if they did something to my main for simply wanting to have a good time with my homies without ruining the game for them.
i use my alt to play with friends who cant play with my main. If they let us play as a 5 man in cs2 even if someone is unranked or low, then i wouldnt need an alt to play the game with mates, simple as that. From my perspective, its valves fault... if i didnt do this i just wouldnt play the game at all really as i wanna play with mates, not random that troll and dont communicate

Cheated for about a week back in 2017 on csgo, almost did but very glad I didn’t link my number to my new main. Cheating is the dumbest thing imaginable in the game, it ruins the fun for yourself (very quick) and everyone else. I played for 1500 hours before getting banned, yet I made the stupid mistake of ruining it all. Wasn’t able to enjoy the game legit again till about a couple years ago, it truly is the best most simplistically complex competitive fps game of all time. Even if valve never fixed the anticheat, it doesn’t mean it’s a good idea to try it anyway. These people are doing themselves an absolute disservice. Really don’t think they should ban all correlated accounts, I shouldn’t have to pay AGAIN for my actions almost a decade ago. I take the game very seriously, and even have hundreds of dollars into my inventory as someone with barely any money. (dumb and sad I know, but cs2 is my absolute life atm I’m willing to spend a lil money on it)
Yesterday we had to restart our wifi mid game, after restarting we could not reconnect to the match which resulted in a 1000 point loss and a mm cooldown! Please fix that
Hwid id , ip, mac adresses , they can obviously use the software client itself to see if you are the same person on different alts since steam app is fully server sided.
