The Arc XL size and open area to actually see and turn the pizza is what sold me on it. Plus, Home Depot lets you use the military discount on the XL, bringing the price down to 719.
Own a rockbox. Excellent oven‼️ That being said, would love more room but don’t see upgrading to Arc xl for just the room. I’m thinking of moving up to original Dome for its multiple fuel options and room. However, the cost is difficult to make the move and the likelihood, Gozney will upgrade the original Dome with the new gas burner, temperature features of the Arc xl. Feel the original Dome, overall, is the most versatile of Gozney ovens.
Thank you for adding Celsius to your Tests. Here in Germany Nobody knows anything about Fahrenheit ;) Love your content! I would Like to See a Bit more about doughs or recipes or different stylez of Pizza and how to make them. Keep up the good work.
You can make your own, it just likely won’t be as pretty, but still helps. I suggest a brick or cut bricks, if you’re not comfortable bending and cutting metal i hope somedadscook tests a $3-$20 brick solution, with his fancy thermometers
Have a Roccbox and loving it. Wish Gozney would bring out a14 inch size Roccbox. Didn't see a baffle door for Roccbox on NU2U website. Is it available? Watching from Perth, Australia 😊
You can easily make your own baffle for a nominal material cost and 5 mins - a couple hours of time, depending how pretty and sharp edges safe, you want it to be. You can use drywall track, other sources for sheet metal, or cut or find bricks in the right size
can you do a test of flame off with baffle door. how well and long it retains heat with the baffle door. people would want to use the baffle door to cook 16 inch NY style pizza with flame off to prevent burning. some people may want to cook bread in their arc xl with flame off. thank you again
Thank you very much for your time for all videos you have made for us, hope you do video for auto-rotating stone or do (modeling / modifying) oven like (Everdure KILN), can't wait to see video like that ... thanks again for great videos
Yes but it does not come with a removal tool. You can tip it on its side to remove the stone but I'm not that brave. You can request a stone removal kit from Gozney.
I would remove it and put it somewhere safe. I take the flame guard out, then tilt it on its side until I can get my hand under it. Then put it back down with my hand still under it. Then just pull it out
Great review, I own a Roccbox and I've cooked lots of pizzas and its pretty good, the huge downsize is that you cant replace the stone. I will definitely consider to get the Arc XL based on you can cooked larger pizzas and the stone can be replaced. Cheers from California

That's awesome. Thank you for your service.
Thanks for the shout out!

The dome is pretty nice

Awesome. Thank you for the feedback.
But, the Fahrenheits were a German Hanse merchant family!
I was going to buy the Arc XL door and then saw $28 shipping after the door is already 114 what a joke those people are ripping us off

Arc XL! is the one to get. It's larger and blocks the flame up.. Plus you put more in there at same time...

Can you review the TOTOVEN electrical pizza oven ? 😀 it’s between the Roccbox and the TOTOVEN for me. Just don’t know which one’s better.
Thanks for another great video.
I have a Witt Etna Rotnate, I would love to see what you think about that one.
(I love it :) )

I'd like to see a comparison between the Arc XL and the Alpha Moderno Pizza oven. Both are similar price points. Thank-you for your great reviews.
Yes!
When transporting the arc, like driving to a camp site.would it be better to take the stone out and have it on its side rather than flat in the oven?

@somedadscook Thank you,I think I will make something to hold the stone while driving so it is not flat when transporting..
@DraftDodger69420 thank you..I will buy a removal kit.
@@somedadscook could you make a quick short how to remove?

When will the pizza baking test take place one after another? Can the Ooni Koda be compared with the Roccbox?
I already did it. Should be out next week. But I could do another later with the Koda 16
Gozney roccobox vs Ooni Koda
Roccbox has outperformed the Arc Xl!
Did you watch the same video as I did? Do you own a RoccBox?
Gozney Roccobox vs Ooni Koda!!!
