my dad just recently bought an 86 c10 and we actually found some 4" x 10" housings where yall are installing those 6" x 9" panels, so i just ordered a nice set of kicker 4" x 10"s gonna put together a nice system for father day for him.
I have an 87 Chevy but the previous owner cut the area to out an aftermarket radio but I wanna put the factory radio style but since they cut the whole what can I do ?
You could simply replace the dash face/bezel and use the holes in the bezel to mount the new radio. This is exactly what we did with our 75 GMC Shop Truck.
We can't give you a direct link to the package without knowing the year of your truck, but here's a link to our website and you can easily find it all there: www.brotherstrucks.com

Having it all pre-wired greatly reduced the amount of information it could've contained.
I already got this pre-wired? Thanks for showing us rookies how to wire the stereo and speakers

Excellent! Yeah, some of the later model C10's had a 4x10 setup in the rear, pretty cool!
I suppose the price tag on that radio is astounding.
Is this radio now just hanging by the bezel? Or did y'all fix there they cut the metal to install a din radio?
The radio is supported by the bezel as well as a metal strap at the back. The new radio is extremely lightweight, unlike the radio that was removed.
Is there enough room behind the bench seat of a 79 Chevy pick up to put a sub box ?
Yes
would that same stereo and speakers work on an 85 custom deluxe
Yes!
I have a 86 c10, i have a digital radio from LMC truck. It stopped working and the display doesn't show anything, any ideas?

Looks like you already found it! Thanks for watching!
Just bought speaker brackets a stereo, speakers, a conversion kit to suprise my dad in his 76 Chevy k20 but I don’t know how to wire the stereo.?
What's the purpose of the overlay? For shows? "Security"?
Its just cosmetic, makes it look more like a factory radio.
Do you have to do any custom wiring or is it plug and play
You have to wire the power, ground and a constant to power the radio. After that it's simply running speaker wires where ever you need them.
