This isn't in your video, and I don't see the procedure in your comments, so here! After you change the battery, in order to start the watch going with the new battery, you have to do an AC Reset (someone called it this in the comments). That's what the sticker on the battery is talking about, "After battery replacement, contact AC with ( - ) using tweezers". So, how do you do that? Look at 3:27 when they have the gray rubber plate/shock absorber piece back in place. There is a spring sticking up through a hole in that rubber on the top right. Now, look back at 3:16, right before the rubber goes on, when they should have shown the AC reset. (Actually the jump cut at 3:17 when the position of the watch is straight afterwards is probably when they did the AC reset off camera I bet!) The AC contact is in a little well just underneath that spring, to the 'southeast' just a milimeter or two of it; you can see the copper or brass metal shining up through the hole in the black plastic above it. So that is one side of the contact; the other side is on the bottom left of the metal plate. Just above the word "CASIO" stamped into the metal, there's actually that ( - ) symbol, and just above it a little circle stamped into the metal. So, to make electrical contact between them, you can use tweezers, or I just opened up a metal paper clip, that might be easier. Stick one end of the clip into that AC contact hole so it touches the brass underneath, then touch the other end to that circle on the plate (electrically it shouldn't matter where you touch on this plate, but maybe it does, just touch inside the circle to be safe). It doesn't beep or anything, but if you flip the watch over you should see the display working now, and it should be set to 1-1-2009 (or 2007, I forget the year) and 12:00 am! Then you can set the watch from there. Remember to make sure it's on Timekeeping mode T-1 for your home time, then hold the top left button till seconds start flashing, then use bottom left button to cycle through the number you're currently setting, and the bottom right button to change that number. Yes, see my comment above! I had to reset AC to get mine working again after changing the battery, anyway. Before the reset the screen was just all dark.
No you cant. because CR2032 is thicker than CR2025 and wont fit. You might be able to force it in but im sure the backplate wont sit flush with the rest of the body and you risk damaging your watch if you try and force it.
Manual says it should be about 7 years, I wonder. I bet if you have the auto light accelerometer function turned off, and no alarms, it's longer than it would be otherwise.
I’ve got a G shock watch which has the same battery clasp but I can’t get the battery out from the clasp and the jeweller doesn’t have any clue how to fix it 😲😢 I’m even having trouble getting the battery out even when I have watched the video over and over again 😬😡
Trabalho péssimo, tirou os parfusos de forma errada,não tirou a ferrugem do fundo e nem limpou a caixa do relógio, nem passou silicole na guarnição 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
I actually didn't, apparently there is some delay after you touch that AC, screen was black for a while, when I looked at it again, it was on. Everything seems to be working as it should

This comment helped me out so much. If anyone is having problems replacing the battery and wondering why it won’t work this will fix it!
This comment is better than the video, and it’s as if the person doing the video doesn’t know what they are doing
ฉันเปลี่ยนถ่านนาฬิกาที่ฉันรักได้ เพราะวีดีโอของคุณ ขอบคุณมากค่ะ Thank you
Thanks
should we reset the AC (just like on the instruction sticker) or not?
You r right @jordan valentino
Yes, see my comment above! I had to reset AC to get mine working again after changing the battery, anyway. Before the reset the screen was just all dark.
Una pregunta, una vez abierto sigue resistiendo a ser sumergido?
Parece que si, realice el mismo procedimiento para cambiar la batería y hasta ahora no le ha entrado agua al reloj al sumergirlo.
U did not perform the AC reset.🧐
Can i use cr2032 battery instead cr2025? Thanks...
CR2025

Please Visit casio website, search this watch & read full specifications
@@Rose.Of.Hizaki thanks!

how long did the battery last?
Manual says it should be about 7 years, I wonder. I bet if you have the auto light accelerometer function turned off, and no alarms, it's longer than it would be otherwise.

I think I might have shorted my damn watch :(
