Average Premier league defender,Terry,Adams,Ferdinand, Stam,Vidic,Bruce,Pallister,Kompany, Carvaho and Keown plus lots more were all better players,and all the above players were multiple league winners
I wouldn't have swapped Carra for most of those names, he played in far weaker teams, just like Gerrard did at LFC. He has club legend status for a reason, also the best CB on your list (JT) rates him, that says it all.
@@EnlightenedTurtle not knocking him for lack of Silverware he was a top player but in y opinion I just think they were all better players but as a Chelsea season ticket holder I would love to have a one club man
@@joemccann138 fair enough, they are a rare breed. Ps, I would have only Taken JT, Rio and Kompany.. the rest had flaws and baggage. Carra was a war horse week in week out for nearly two decade's.. and was our quickest cb for most of that time, his defensive stats were ridiculous most seasons. Alas football is all about opinions. Top player top battler and talks alot of sense about football and has rainman memory of facts. And the spitting was wrong but shows hes normal and dont appreciate a dad being a dick in front of his daughter,ive git mates that would of dragged him out and really hurt him infront of her

Fair enough 👍🏽 There's definitely been better Defenders but can't take away his service for Liverpool and achievements.
