My business's legal name is my first initial, last name +Enterprises, Inc. I am a business coach and I publically use my first/last name with the word " Coaching" after it. Do I have to use the legal name for my listing? It seems more search-friendly to use my public profile name. Thank you!
Great question! I can’t find the link to Google’s guidelines offhand, but generally speaking, you have 3 options: 1. Your legal business name (boring) 2. A DBA name 3. A name you use consistently in your branding (i.e., logo or business card) If you don’t have “coaching” in your branding yet, that *could* be considered “keyword stuffing,” which is a no no. Easy fix? Add it! Go to Canva and add Coaching to your logo and you’ll be 100% legit 😊 Thanks for the kind words and let me know if you have anymore GBP questions 🙏

How did you contact Google? I’ve done all the steps you mentioned and still can’t get verified! Haven’t been able to find a number to contact google. It’s been two months now! I’m an independent Notary Public / Notary Signing Agent that doesn’t have a storefront. I travel to my clients. Last week was my last video attempt. I was told by their system that verification would take up to 5 days which was 8 days ago and nothing!
I’d recommend emailing me: sam@thencandesigns.com They won’t approve you if you have a setting wrong (or if you’re violating a rule - whether it’s on purpose or not).

I would recommend showing them everything. I blurred it because it's a public-facing video. Let's face it, Google has all our information anyway 😆
