Excellent tutorial, I am about to do my first foil iron on and I was confused as to why it had to be face down (cricut even has conflicting instructions!), I had no idea there was that clear plastic layer already built in! Such a relief since my design has fine details. Thank you!

I have the “faith” and “Jesus” image that looks like a cross. I haven’t used them yet. I’m going to use foil or holographic vinyl. I absolutely love 💕 yours too. It’s so beautiful in the gold foil against the dark shirt. Super Cute Job!
The foil transfer sheets are applied with the foil embossing tips and uses drawn images, while foil iron on uses cut images and is applied with heat. Note that foil iron on is the only kind that can be placed on fabric, not the transfer sheets.
You don't need to put anything between the iron an the iron on? Every HTV piece I have ever used I have used something in between the two. Also, can you use any cutting tool or do you have to have a specific one? I'm bought foil for today to make a mermaid baby onesie and want the foil for the tail.
You can place a protective sheet between the press and iron on if you’d like, but I only do so when covering exposed iron on if the carrier sheet has been removed. :)
Can you use a larger sheet of foil to cut multiples of your design all on one sheet? I plan on putting designs on multiple articles of clothing but I don’t want to waste any vinyl.
I can’t find the answer to this anywhere what B tool did you use do you have to use the “foil” B attachment?? To use foil iron on or can you use your regular one
I have a question! I am using iron on foil/ strong bond on my cricut the explore 2 and when I start weeding , some of the foil stays on the sheet and it’s hard to remove , has this happened to you?
This hasn’t happened to me, mine has weeded really well. Be sure you’re using the correct cut setting and maybe adjust your pressure, if you think you’re not getting a deep enough cut.
Unfortunately, I have no direction for using an iron. I only tried one project with an iron when I first started, found it super difficult because I couldn’t monitor my temp and invested in an EasyPress so I could do exact temps. Sorry you’re having trouble!
I think you can, but I will say that I never had success with using a household iron for iron on projects. For me, it was too difficult to monitor the correct temperature so I quickly invested in an EasyPress as soon as I was able to for more successful projects. I haven't personally used an iron for foil iron on, but be sure to search TH-cam because maybe someone has a tutorial on how to do it!
hiii this is unrelated to the video but,, I just got a cricut and I’m new to this. I’m trying to cut out my stickers but my cricut keeps making imprecise and inaccurate cuts. how do I fix that?
I am not sure what machine you have, but if your new machine is an Explore Air 2 or a Maker then you should calibrate it for more accurate cuts if you're doing print then cut projects for your stickers. Here is a video on how to calibrate! Hope this helps! th-cam.com/video/Ph-T9wdFBpE/w-d-xo.html

Oh I didn't realise the Cricut Foil Iron on already has adhesive on it. Cos I went to get some adhesive for the foil

Curious...how long does the image last in between washings? Does the foil fall apart? How long lasting is this product?

Could I use an iron to do infusion before o get an Easy Press?
I would do a test. I’ve had spotty results with my iron from the steam holes, but depending on the size of your design it might work.

Hello! You do not use transfer tape with HTV Iron On, it is already built in and is the clear sheet that is being weeded on.

So you don’t have to put nothing over the foil vinyl when you press it?
You don’t! You can, if you’d like but it’s not mandatory.
Oh ok. I have a hard time with this vinyl. When I take plastic off it like rips the shine off
