One of my older grandsons got married this year, in a very small intimate wedding, and I got to be the photographer for the wedding. Now that was a memory to love!
I got married to my best friend of 8 years on 02-02-2020. that was my favorite memory!
I have grandchild number 7 born in Nov. and all my family is healthy. I am grateful for that even though it has been tough for some of my friends. I pray 2021 will be better for all!

Good Evening Corinne. 2020 has gone out in a bang. On Christmas Eve Day our Youngest Daughter gave birth a healthy and happy baby Girl. On Christmas Day they were released from the hospital and started making the rounds to all the grandparents. It was an amazing Christmas present for us as she is our fourth grandchild. Have a Happy and Safe New Year 2021!!!!!!
Hi! i just found your channel! My favorite memory of 2020, I turned 40 in August and my hubby want to through me a huge party. That never happened because of Covid. Instead he went on Cameo and got a band member from Life House and the actress that played Lulu in Gilmore girls to sing happy birthday to me. That was the most awesome birthday present that I have ever gotten.

Can I get this foil in smaller amounts? I don’t think I want an entire 25 foot roll of the same color. Is this the same as the Cricut foil transfer?
No it only comes in the large rolls
The cricuf foil transfer is not for fabrics and its pressure sensitive. This foil requires adhesive
Where is the link that tells what htv is layerable?
Love your videos. Can the large cricut easy press be used for this type of htv and layering?

It can be but its hard to get the even pressure you need on the foil.

No. The adhesive is not for sublimation.

Great video. Thanks for sharing it. It appeared that you had the foil shiny side up. Is the heat on the upper side of the presser you used?
The foil must go color side up or it will not adhere to the adhesive on the shirt

do you use same cutting settings for all material's you use
All machines are different I always recommend using a test cut first but generally yes my setting should work

Ok, I watched this and did a layered project with HTV (Siser Easyweed) and foil (Starcraft) similar to this and the foil stuck to the HTV! How do I avoid that happening in the future?
It’s tricky using a little less pressure can help and cut your foil down so it doesn’t cover the htv as much as possible

The foil is stuck to Siser easyweed adhesive everything is linked in the video description
How did you get that bubble pattern in the numbers? I'm making an adoption day shirt for my niece and love the look of this. I'm pairing it with a tutu and floral head wreath.
I wanted to make purple letters and use the rainbow holographic foil for the bubbles/circles
Make circles slice them from the font keep the circles that overlap the font
Hi! I just came across your video. I was wondering if you could use the foil with Cricut iron on or if it had to be with the HTV you used?
For the foil to stick it has to be a specific adhesive style vinyl. Like the one I used cricut doesn’t make anything like that. But for the plain color htv yes you can use anything you want
Hi Corrine, I tried your method and it worked perfectly, thank you. However, now Im wondering if I can layer with the foiled pattern down first and the second layer on top being patterned htv?
No. You will damage the foil

Question...have you pressed the foil with an easy press?
I have. It turns out well, better if you do it on the floor so you can apply firm even pressure. If not sometimes it comes out looking distressed

If you mean like an adhesive vinyl no. if you mean HTV then yes :)
Is this foil the same as Cricut’s foil?
No cricut foil is pressure sensitive and this foil is adhesive activated
Is the foil used much different than the foil used in card making?
There are lots of foils that can be used on cards. This can be used as long as there is an adhesive or laser printed designs and a laminator
quick qn. Can I use the Cricut stencil material to make a door mat design? And if so is it reusable?
You can but it won't stick well and no not reusable

Do you know if the electro foil will work with the foil transfer kit?
No. The electra foil is adhesive reactive the foil kit is pressure active.

Hi. Thank you for the video. I have a question. My adhesive stretches and comes off in pieces when I peel it. Any advise on what I may be doing wrong? I’m afraid to use it now.
do you mean when you are weeding? if so thats normal. You may also not be cutting it well enough if its lifting your design
@@CorinneBlackstone thank you so much for replying! It happens when I remove the carrier sheet for the adhesive after pressing. Maybe I didn’t press it long enough or maybe my temperature is off?

What abut the washing
Wash cold inside out if you have to dry it tumbler dry low
How would wash garments that have foil on them?
Cold water mild detergent low heat in the drier

It's the very first link above called "Design".
I would like to give a suggestion because, once I learned it, it made weeding much easier. Try weeding your vinyl while it is still on the mat - it will lessen the struggle and might even save some time!
@@mariawyant9634 it also lessens the life of you mat. Which is why I do not do that.

Does the foil work with an iron?
A home iron is not recommended. You need to press the foil all in one piece and it needs to be super even heat and pressure

Well... I’m not sure what a good answer even it lol. We are all ok, and my parents and grandparents made it through Covid, my dad was really bad.
Also tip: weed on your mat! It’s a 3rd hand and a game changer
I do not recommend weeding on the mat. It lessens the stickiness quicker. :) i am glad to hear your family has made it through covid. I'm sorry your dad was so sick :(
