Great reaction. As a collaboration it works really well with all 3 artists getting their moments while blending their different styles and complementing each other ... but I'm in the "make the guitar solo longer" camp as well.
F Hero is the rapper - he is from Thailand and collaborated on BABYMETAL's song 'PA PA YA' in 2019 - he even flew to Japan specially for the opening 2 concerts of their 2019 tour to appear with them in person and he made another special guest appearance when they played in Bangkok last year.
Bodyslam are also from Thailand. They are apparently Thailand's biggest rock band, I have read that most of their own work is softer than this.
Bodyslam will be playing a festival (Summer Sonic I think) soon and they have F Hero and BABYMETAL listed as their guests. It will be very interesting to see and hear the live performance for this song.
Yeah, you're not alone in the longer solo camp. It's a real shame as the guitarist is said to be a Babymetal fan. Would very much love to have heard more - and that seems to be the consensus. Thanks for the react!

This song is a special collab between these great Thai artists and Japanese international phenomenon.
BabyMetal already did another collab with Thai rapper F.Hero back in 2019 called PA PA YA!! Bodyslam is a top notch Thai rock band and they will be playing this song together at Summer Sonic Bangkok next August, it's gonna blown everyone's mind.

Su's singing and Moa/Momo's twin vocal with smile + choreo make everybody happy. I love the juxtaposition of darkness and brightness both conveying positive and encouraging messages.
After the seal of BABYMETAL's hiatus was lifted, it is difficult to follow their high velocity to develop surprising things by their own and with other excellent artists like in this MV. It is, of course, happy surprise though 🤩

I wouldn't mind having a guitar solo from the heavier part, but it's interesting to know that there are different ways of the point of views.
Okay, the big bearded guy with the sunglasses is 'Su-Metal' from BABYMETAL, and he has a great soprano voice. Sometimes he even does some chorus sounding like a girl, 'Yo do it, do it'. The three girls are BODYSLAM, a popular girls group from Thailand, and they are not metal in nature, but more like pop-rock. The last one is the legendary Japanese rap metal band, F. HERO.

Yes, it helps that Babymetal doesn't need their stage persona if they record a Video. So they made a better Figur in their experiments Moa and Mo.o singing and Su harmonization, Bodyslam played so hard as never before.
I like the guitar solo, I just wish it was about 10 seconds longer. Good reaction. 🤘

Oh, shit, I was expecting you to say it needs to be longer (maybe you implied that) because every reaction and criticism has said that. For me, it’s one of those things that makes me wonder if it would have made the song too perfect and lose that addictive quality that makes you want to come back for more. I know that sounds crazy but I am sure you know about the rule of minimalism at this point. Babymetal does make use of it at times. But I might just be talking out of my ass on this. All I know is that this song has a lot of replay value for a lot of fans like myself. Every time I replay it it becomes more addicting! It definitely grows on you for sure. When I first heard the song I wasn’t expecting much and surely my mind wasn’t blown either. But I loved Babymetal’s part, it was the “sweetener” that gave the song that taste and especially Momo’s “Yo! Do it do it do it now!” part was probably one of the most adorable fucking things I have heard in a Babymetal song in a while. That is the first time we actually got a chance to officially hear her clean vocals (she does growls to, yes, Babymetal has a vocalist for harsh vocals now).
Oh oh, you just did the Bodyslam/F. Hero switcharoo! In case you don’t know, it’s been a running meme in the fandom for a while now about people mistaking one for the other! 🤣 You never seen Pa Pa Ya I don’t think. It’s one of Babymetal’s popular songs that featured him a good while back.
Also I recommend you rewatch with lyrics turned on. Unlike previous songs with BM, this one’s lyrics hit pretty hard and are probably meant to be read with the song. Especially F.Hero’s part. The translation isn’t perfect but it does it enough justice.

I enjoy it immensely. And I, perfectly, can understand you point regarding the guitar solo. It had to be longer, but (if you ask me) it then would have destroyed the pace of the song. But while it is kind of unessentials to the song the way it is, it also doesn't hurt to have it (IMHO).
I think it's unanimously agreed that the breakdown should have been longer.
